Man, this would be pretty funny if this is how the "Moonlight Feels Right" Starbuck started out. I guess by 76 the guys traded in the 12 string Ricks for a marimba.
I noticed that I Who Have Nothing is an old Jerry Leiber - Mike Stoller song that Tm Jones did in 1970. they wrote and produced a lot of novelty style songs for The Coasters like Charlie Brown, Searchin, YoungBlood, Yackety Yak. Other classics they wrote include Hound Dog, Kansas City, Stand By Me, Love Potion #9, Spanish Harlem, Is That All There Is and On BRoadway. They later went on to produce Stealer's Wheel who had the big hit "Stuck In The Middle With You"
Good folk-rocker. Pretty strong vocals; the 12-string sort of wanders out of modality. Like a sweeter Leaves. Definitely not an East coast or Southern band. Starbuck was partially formed by members of Eternitys Children well beyond the vintage of this recording. Thanks for posting, John

@RAM71 The marimba player was one of two founding members of the band, so not sure if it's the same guys.

Can you send me the Delta numbers on this record as well as the title of the flip and which side each Delta goes with?

Valiant Records "usually" released LA bands, so I doubt this is the 70's Starbuck as they were from the East Coast.

This is closer to The Beau Brummels

The 45 says Starbuck and the Rainmakers, I would guess they are different artists. That's just a guess.

I don't believe it's the same artist.
