  • I like you because your voice is so gentle you are so cute, i want you to be my sister. (:

  • when i get the perm does it matter if i use a clarifying shampoo?

  • thank you for the tips!! I will soon have perm curls, but I will have it all over my hair, and my hair is normally thin and blond. any advice? :D

  • If you get a perm and the curl comes out within the first two weeks go back and tell the salon to fix it

  • ur dimples are so cute

  • I love your teeth! They are so pretty! You are pretty as well. (: Your video was very helpful also. (:

  • has anyone ever told you that you kind of look like a korean actress named song hye gyo?? you really look like her :)

  • I noticed that the perm was not up to the root of your hair. can a digital perm be done for your hair from root to tip. I want a perm but I want it to look very natural and the whole length. =)

  • @FancyFarrah You can request the stylist to do that for you, but normally they leave out some hair so you don't lose hair length and it's not so 80s-like. XD If you specify what you want, I'm sure they'll accommodate. ^_^

  • Thanks so much! I just recently got a digital perm for the first time in my life, lol. To be honest, I'm still trying to figure out how to handle it coz it would sort of have a mind of it's own... I'm familiar with curling iron curls but this is different huhu. Oohhh, I'm guilty of towel drying my hair.. and constantly touching it, yikes! I will give those tips a try, thanks!!! btw, love the look ;) very cute!

    nad xoxo~

  • Whats the perm called?

  • Can I get a curly perm that will make my hair look like that?

  • your second perm looks better than the first..did u do different types of perm each time? for example ceramic, digital, body waves etc.

  • I LOVE that leave in conditioner. They've stopped selling them in a lot of stores in the US though =[

  • This was so helpful! I got a digital perm recently and my hair has been really frizzy and dry and tangly! I'll definitely try out what you've recommended. Thanks!

  • well,I'm african american and I rock asian hair styles with a plain perm and I wanted to get a digital perm XD

I wanna know if it'll work on my kinky hair Thaaaanks~

  • Hi! Thank u so much

What about overnight? Can i put a gel in after its wet, tie my hair, and sleep?

  • ur very helpful!! thank you and ur very very pretty :)

  • Should I also avoid using too much heat on permed hair?

  • I got a perm two days ago and I just washed it now with a conditioner - my hair is still wet right now, but I'm kind of worried, because there is not rly that many curls in my hair :s does anyone know what I can do or anything? It would be annoying, if I need to get a new perm, which will cost a lot of money and will damage my hair again :(

  • @LittleTenTen This is probably a really late reply. But I think if that ever happens to you again just use a curling iron or curlers to maintain the curls :) Remember to use heat products to reduce on the damage ^ ^

  • Yeah, I just got a perm and I looked like Phillis Diller. lol But it's alright now! :D

  • does perm look good after 1 week? 2 weeks? 1 mons? 2 mons?....?

coz your hair looked good after 2 mons compared from the 1 mon :D

  • i got a straightening perm in the phillipines.

    =]

    i lovee my hairrr.

  • maraming salamat sa pag gawa ng ganitong vid dahil i didn't know about this and i recently got a perm :S...salamat ulit!

    and can you understand tagalog?

  • thanks for these tips..

i want to have digi perm this summer and i think it really helps a lot...

  • just got my hair digitally permed. this is very informative. thanks :D

  • your so cute!! i love your videos!!

  • your digital perms look amazing and they lasted so long beautifully! i had short hair like yours but it has grown up to my shoulders and i've been thinking about getting a digital perm. now i know how to take care of it properly! i also learned from you how to create curls with the straightening iron for short hair, and i love the look so much i want it permanently. thank you so much for your videos ^_^.

  • where did you got ur long curs before?in the philippines ba?

  • I like permed hair too! I've had it done once, my hair still stayed healthy and in fact, the curls were really big and I had a hard time controlling them, haha.

Now I've cut it off and got side swept bangs - I just wonder how you got it like yours. Your bangs seem longer than mine, but still, they look much better. My bangs aren't "one", they are loose plucks of hair all over my forehead. It's really annoying.

  • you are too cute!!!

  • how often do you get your hair trimed?

  • you look really pretty no matter what you wear :D

  • Hey!

I heard you shouldn't leave your hair wrapped in a towel for too long. it damages your hair too! xoxoxox

  • wow i was thinking of getting a perm myself not too scrunchy but not too loose kinda like curling iron curls that start above the ear and end down at the bottom thanks for the tips i really appreciate them. ^^

  • So do you scrunch the basic shampoo/conditioner into your hair as well? I usually "massage" it in. Don't know if that would count as rubbing :P

  • Like always, your videos are very informative and well put together. You are very articulate and have great advice. Thanks for making this!

  • Really! your eyes are very pretty with and without the creative makeup :]

  • Thank you! ^_^

  • hai raisa... wew i know this is out of the topic but i really love your dresses... im tOo picky for my dress and i liked yours..a quiet conservative lOoK :P anyweiz i always checked out for your tutorials and it hepled me a lot :) mostly for hair care..God bless you!! oOOops i almost forgot...have you done any tutorials that you hav'nt post here during your long hair?? just asking coz your tutorials now is not really helping me:) anyweiz ingat ka gUrL :)

  • Just stick around, I'll have a hair model soon. ^_^ Until then, there are many other tutorials out there for long hair.

Right now, I'm just giving a fresh spin on short hair. Many people think there isn't much you can do with it, but I beg to differ. ;D Anyway, you can do the same technique I showed with my short hair with long hair too. Like I've said before, there's nothing you can do with short hair that you can't with long hair.

  • What makes you say that? :)

  • @damitcassieowns - Then don't watch her videos because youre obviously so savvy in beauty products that you don't need the advice.

  • im not saying she has bad advice and i never did. like when she said that she sees guros rubbing there hair together is bad...it wont do much damage because the product is all around the hair which prevents its

  • It is bad. Do you know what a strand of hair looks like? It's not one smooth layer, it's a bunch of cells that look much like roof shingles. They're laid one on top of each other. If you rub your hair, you push these hair "shingles up, causing static, kinks, weakened follicles, etc. Deep conditioners help, but constant rubbing of your hair after your shower, a time when your hair follicles are the most delicate, leads to damage over time.

  • but if you rub it WITH conditioner, its to smooth to penetrate. im not saying go rub your hair dry

  • Nope. Don't rub your hair. Finger comb the conditioner through or use a comb specifically made for combing wet hair.

  • its okay to rub with conitioner

  • oh...and its called a wide tooth comb. and its okay to rub with conditioner

  • It's never okay to rub your hair. :( I know this myself because I use to do it and it caused a lot of frizz. I stopped it and now my hair is a lot better.

But if you don't believe me or PeachTea0, that's fine. Either way, you've made your point here.

  • how will u maintain straight hair without straightening it??pls help me,,,thanks<3

    hope u can help,,

  • You can use a good leave-in conditioner. If you want really straight hair though, you either have to be born with it or use a flat iron. :(

  • hey !

    i watched your video.

does this relate to magic perm as well ? (straight perm)

i straighten my bangs with a straightener like everyday even if i have a perm because when i wake up, my bangs are like...poofy ish and the side of it is like wavish..

  • Oh, by perm, I mean curly hair perm. ^_^ Some of these tips, you can still do, but skip the scrunching with gel part. You can maintain your hair as usual if your hair's still straight.

  • ooh.

but when you were talking about drying your hair with towel, does that have to do with straight hair perm also ?

  • Yeah, in general you shouldn't rub your hair.

  • first comment :)

    cool video!

could you do a video on blowdrying your hair please? thanks!

    x

  • I have one up already. :) Check out "Simple Everyday Style."
