I noticed that the perm was not up to the root of your hair. can a digital perm be done for your hair from root to tip. I want a perm but I want it to look very natural and the whole length. =)
@FancyFarrah You can request the stylist to do that for you, but normally they leave out some hair so you don't lose hair length and it's not so 80s-like. XD If you specify what you want, I'm sure they'll accommodate. ^_^
Thanks so much! I just recently got a digital perm for the first time in my life, lol. To be honest, I'm still trying to figure out how to handle it coz it would sort of have a mind of it's own... I'm familiar with curling iron curls but this is different huhu. Oohhh, I'm guilty of towel drying my hair.. and constantly touching it, yikes! I will give those tips a try, thanks!!! btw, love the look ;) very cute!
This was so helpful! I got a digital perm recently and my hair has been really frizzy and dry and tangly! I'll definitely try out what you've recommended. Thanks!
I got a perm two days ago and I just washed it now with a conditioner - my hair is still wet right now, but I'm kind of worried, because there is not rly that many curls in my hair :s does anyone know what I can do or anything? It would be annoying, if I need to get a new perm, which will cost a lot of money and will damage my hair again :(
@LittleTenTen This is probably a really late reply. But I think if that ever happens to you again just use a curling iron or curlers to maintain the curls :) Remember to use heat products to reduce on the damage ^ ^
your digital perms look amazing and they lasted so long beautifully! i had short hair like yours but it has grown up to my shoulders and i've been thinking about getting a digital perm. now i know how to take care of it properly! i also learned from you how to create curls with the straightening iron for short hair, and i love the look so much i want it permanently. thank you so much for your videos ^_^.
I like permed hair too! I've had it done once, my hair still stayed healthy and in fact, the curls were really big and I had a hard time controlling them, haha.
Now I've cut it off and got side swept bangs - I just wonder how you got it like yours. Your bangs seem longer than mine, but still, they look much better. My bangs aren't "one", they are loose plucks of hair all over my forehead. It's really annoying.
wow i was thinking of getting a perm myself not too scrunchy but not too loose kinda like curling iron curls that start above the ear and end down at the bottom thanks for the tips i really appreciate them. ^^
hai raisa... wew i know this is out of the topic but i really love your dresses... im tOo picky for my dress and i liked yours..a quiet conservative lOoK :P anyweiz i always checked out for your tutorials and it hepled me a lot :) mostly for hair care..God bless you!! oOOops i almost forgot...have you done any tutorials that you hav'nt post here during your long hair?? just asking coz your tutorials now is not really helping me:) anyweiz ingat ka gUrL :)
Just stick around, I'll have a hair model soon. ^_^ Until then, there are many other tutorials out there for long hair.
Right now, I'm just giving a fresh spin on short hair. Many people think there isn't much you can do with it, but I beg to differ. ;D Anyway, you can do the same technique I showed with my short hair with long hair too. Like I've said before, there's nothing you can do with short hair that you can't with long hair.
im not saying she has bad advice and i never did. like when she said that she sees guros rubbing there hair together is bad...it wont do much damage because the product is all around the hair which prevents its
It is bad. Do you know what a strand of hair looks like? It's not one smooth layer, it's a bunch of cells that look much like roof shingles. They're laid one on top of each other. If you rub your hair, you push these hair "shingles up, causing static, kinks, weakened follicles, etc. Deep conditioners help, but constant rubbing of your hair after your shower, a time when your hair follicles are the most delicate, leads to damage over time.
It's never okay to rub your hair. :( I know this myself because I use to do it and it caused a lot of frizz. I stopped it and now my hair is a lot better.
But if you don't believe me or PeachTea0, that's fine. Either way, you've made your point here.
does this relate to magic perm as well ? (straight perm)
i straighten my bangs with a straightener like everyday even if i have a perm because when i wake up, my bangs are like...poofy ish and the side of it is like wavish..
Oh, by perm, I mean curly hair perm. ^_^ Some of these tips, you can still do, but skip the scrunching with gel part. You can maintain your hair as usual if your hair's still straight.
I like you because your voice is so gentle you are so cute, i want you to be my sister. (:

So do you scrunch the basic shampoo/conditioner into your hair as well? I usually "massage" it in. Don't know if that would count as rubbing :P

you act stupid in your videos....and as long as there is a leave in conditioner...it wont really damage it

but if you rub it WITH conditioner, its to smooth to penetrate. im not saying go rub your hair dry
damnitcassieowns 3 years ago
Nope. Don't rub your hair. Finger comb the conditioner through or use a comb specifically made for combing wet hair.
PeachTea0 3 years ago
its okay to rub with conitioner

how will u maintain straight hair without straightening it??pls help me,,,thanks<3
hope u can help,,
empressmiaka15 3 years ago
You can use a good leave-in conditioner. If you want really straight hair though, you either have to be born with it or use a flat iron. :(
