Obama, how disappointing. You speak so eloquently on why you shouldn't enter into a war here, but then you turn around and propose going into Libya with both the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq unfinished. Also, how horrible is it that the people of those states are abused by foreign invaders. Shame on you!
personally i see Barack Obama as the American version of Australia's Gough Whitlam
when i studied Australian History Gough Whitlam
ran for leadership doing much the same as Barack is doing and then when he got in he withdrew Australian troops from Vietnam within days of being elected and did a bunch of crazy stuff that screwed Australia over
they seriously got screwed
so they got rid of him
i expect if Obama gets in he will be assassinated
Hey sintown, your a dumba** cause we helped there country. We captured there #1 dictator and are now helping there country rebuild. You must not read newspapers, be smart, or have any knowledge of the war sonn
MCCAIN IS an UNFIT PRESIDENT AND OBAMA IS an UNFIT PRESIDENT. Is it too late? COULD A COMPETENT CHILD OF GOD PLEASE STEP UP AND LEAD US. Neither one of them are morally correct! Obama/PRO-CHOICE and McCain/PRO-WAR. So therefore I am unable to vote!,, They are both just yelling from opposite sides of the same boat. The boat is going to sink if we don't do the right thing and quit arguing over who does it better! I vote NEITHER! If we would use the guide God gave us we wouldn't have this problem!
obama freakin sucks he is a stupid muslim i mean how stupid can u b to vote 4 him his freakin middle name is hussain, its not who your voting for its who ur voting aginst the only reason blacks want obama to win is becouse he is black u racist fags
ohh shitt im sorry u right winger .. even tho no one in iraq had anything to do with anything involving us .. al qaeda isnt in iraq .. al qaeda is in afghanistan u dumbass .. oh yea we'll become allies with iraq .. even tho we went to war with them took over their country and killed basically all of them 4 no reason but yes they will be our allie
one of the reason's people think clinton was so great is that he got great press, no matter what, and used the press as obama does now. Instead of inviting foreign dignitaries over he had press and friends stay at the white house, over for huge dinners, mrs clinton traveled more than any other first lady, taking tons of press wherever she went, travelgate, etc...no obama has out "clintoned" clinton, and people, have these enourmous ideas about how great he is, when if fact he has proven nothing
y is everyone blaming every mistake that this country has made on bush!its really pissing me off.the last time i checked, the majority of the house of representatives and senate have been democrats for the last 8 years.its not bushes fault its everybodys fault that the economy is going down in this shithole.
another victim of the Palin-McCain No Child Left Behind 'strategery'. Please advise this nitwit that it was not until Jan of O7 that Democrats gained a slim but numerically inefectual majority in the house and senate. The Republicans dominated the house and senate before Bush was mis-elected and for the following 6 years.
Thats a good point except for the fact that while everyone was calling for economic reform Bush stood up there and insisted we weren't even in a recession and then a few months later surprise he admits that we are and comes up with this bailout plan.
What is so alarming to me is how the failure of regulation has allowed businesses to get so large [ and their CEO's so wealthy in the bargain]they cannot be allowed to fail. The Republican party has worked overtime to strip away sensible regulation, advising us that the unfettered market would would always serve us well. Instead it has brought us to the brink of ruin.
sorry it was polosi, and raines, etc who did that, they laughed at McCain when he years ago tried to regulate this market, and bush put up bills calling for stricter measures also to be defeated. Obama's money man is the clinton reg who led fannie mae to colapse, taking over 50 million in bonus's all the while cooking the books and falsely creating this huge debacle, just read and learn dont follow blindly the dem party playbook, it time for american's to think about us, not follow blindly
Oh and a few more points, deregulation of corporations and the financial markets has been leading to our boom/bust cycle since late 80's. Read about what they have done it is incredible! Consumers are fast losing ANY protections because the supreme court is taking away your last avenue to complain, shareholder and consumer suits. THe disparity between the rich and poor has been steadily increasing since the early 80's and is now on par with the disparity that existed in the 1920's!
yes and when McCain and Bush asked congress for regulation they were laughed at, and blocked, and called racist, by the black democratic leaders, and now they shout it's their fault, how ironic people dont look at the fatcs. And the fact Biden is the one who srote into law the new bankrupcy rules that take morgage protection away from personal bankrupcy laws, lmao, yet he and Obama will "save us", please people get a clue and stop drinking the koolaide
I am generally so dismayed with the other comments I don't comment. BUT I wish people would discuss issues. I am pro-gun and pro-free trade and pro-state rights. I like a strong defense. THE war in IRAQ was STUPID. IT has weakened us as a nation. We need to leave ASAP. McCain's health plan is INSANE, give the HMO's the choice to only insure healthy folks (nomore spreading the risk)and that is just what they will do! Your employer will be punished for covering you.
obama sounds just like clinton used to, full of b/s, and saying whatever the polls say he should, not what is right, or true, or just. Obama is a joke, a talking head, nothing more, hasnt passed but 2 bills in his 2 years of congress, one of getting park's picture on a stamp, please, let us see what he has to offer not hear what he says he would do
If u wanna bash Obama u really shouldn't compare him to Clinton. Personal scandals aside he was one of our greatest presidents and unemployment and poverty were at a low during his term So clinton talked and delivered.
actually if you'll look it up, until this year the unemplyoyment rate has been lower ubder Bush than ever under clinton, and besides clinton sending nuclear power to north korea, his family selling secrets to china, he taking of foreign money for elections, his impeachment, yea, I'd say clinton did a great job, of ruining our political scene, hes the one who developed the"one party philosophy" in American politics, now run well by the dems, if you dont believe as they do you an idiot, childish
I don't know where you're getting your numbers but thats just not true. The economy under Bush has been bad for awhile its just that he's finally admitting it to himself where as before he wouldn't even admit we were ina recession. Maybe he knows absolutely nothing about economics or maybe he was just in denial who knows.
And i did look up my numbers I was an eonomics major for awhile so I had to know the numbers and let me assure you whatever your scource is it's wrong. If your pro- Bush whatever but don't pretend he didn't make a million mistakes.
well Mr econimics major, if that is so then you better study more, my numbers come from the congressional record, the public record of fannie mac pac funds, and from obama's books he wrote supposidly by himself. I have stated nothing but facts, and if people truely look into the issues and what is said vs what the facts show as true then without a doubt if one pursues obama after reading the facts then a fool they be, Im sorry the obama train is the saddest thing to happen in american history
I dont know the numbers or havent seen the numbers, but even though your numbers may be accurate in text. The economy will show otherwise unless you've been living in a cave. Undoubtablly, Bush has made tons of mistakes during his presidency, and even though it looks good, later down the road when he isn't president anymore that's when you'll see the results of his wrong decisions.
History has shown that the results of a president will not be fully shown until the next president's era rather it be McCain or Obama, they will have to make up for these mistakes.
the economy, sir, has taken a huge hit due to the scare tactics of the media, fueled bu American's disgust with the status quo, of "leaders" of huge banks who have followed suit in the morgage industry, which has been led by Clinton's man Raines@fannie mae, until his ouster he made over 90 million, cooked the books to do so. His deal makes enron look like a penny piggy bank. And ACORN, obama's only paid job since college, where he was a lawyer and a trainer, in voter fraud across the nation
That was directed at Smartfuk Badfuk w/e not mdwbcone. But btw Obama is not anti American he jst doesn't believe America is this perfect place we have issues and they need to be fixed take a look at wall street.
Americans deserve to know the facts about Obama. He has ties with domestic terrorists, Anti-American mentors, and more.
A president should be held to a higher standard than you or I. The president should be known for his patriotism, his LOVE for America and for his service FOR his country. There should be NO question where his motives are.
Can't say that rings true at all for Obama. Please look into who this man Obama really is. He is a fraud!
wow shutup with "im so way experienced than obama" who give the fuck. who knows if the new person can do it better. it's like we are keeping the old singers in america cause they are more experienced with singing, so they should not make more new singers. that means, no fair.. i'm sure new people want to be in the spotlight and show them their thing, their talent, their dignity.
He did cut McCain off alot but i jst think that shows how strongly he felt about what was being said. I feel that McCain wants to do all the same things minus the corruption which is good except that we need a more dramatic change right now. And Palin is just an idiot i mean if God forbid something happened to McCain she wld be president. She is charming etc but do you really think she could lead this country.
Now, four networks' polls are in -- CNN, CBS, ABC & NBC. Of course, people polled on all four thought Biden easily won the debate (CBS by over 20%). Even AOL, normally very right leaning, gave it to Biden -- as well as BBC, Router and Gallup. In otherwords, everyone in the world except Fox. The nightly polls show an overwhelming majority on the major networks and news sites still think Palin is unqualified to be VP. No surprise. Can't wait to see Tina do some of Palin's answers.
Palin thinks the planet Earth was created in six days 6,000 years ago complete with a man, woman and a talking snake. She wants schools to teach our kids to deny geology, anthropology, archaeology. She's forcing her daughter into a marriage to a teenage hood, and wants us to guide our daughters in that direction. Palin says women shouldn't have the right to choose, and it should be the law of the land that she has to deliver her rapists baby. Oh, she can see Russia from her house!
1. Obama never voted against the war, just verbally opposed it.
2. He did vote against 4 bills set to increase spending on military defense, two of which concerned body armor and humvee armor.
3. The reason he wants to "support" the middle class is because the middle class pays for the useless welfare program. They give the middle class more money so they can tax it into welfare. By giving more money to them, and giving more welfare, they get both middle and lower to poverty class votes.
He opposed the war? Google Companion Security Obama Rezmar / Google Auchi Oil for Food Obama discover the networks / Google Alsammarae Obama Iraq. Mind you two of these individuals were wanted by Interpol re: France and Iraq scam for millions.
This guy has no judgement, no conscience. He can't figure out why he should answer or why he shouldn't hang out with criminals.
Something happened to him as a kid that he shut himself down from, for his kids i'm not getting into it.
i like how people (college35) claim to "know" that we are losing the war and immedietly denounce the fact that we are winning the war. stop watching nbc and actually learn whats going on over there.
you can deny it but no one is perfect and Mccain is NOT president Bush, regardless what you say Obama is not right for this country, did you know Obama had the 2nd largest payout from freddy mac fanny may hmmm yea he supports a bail out, hes part of the problem. And yes im sorry to say we are in a war there is not time limit unless your obama.
I dont understand you. You say McCain isnt Pres. Bush, yet he did say that he supported Bush's decisions 90% of the time. Yet in this debate he's backtracking.. Then you talk about Obama when he is giving clear as day proposals on what he wants to do in his presidency. Good ideas too. All I hear from McCain is 1 thing. Money...
Sure he said 90%, but he also said McCain was right 8 times in this debate. BTW, go read his first book... Vid, I also urge you to look at how he performed in Chicago. That will open your eyes.
Obama said McCain was right when he agreed with some of the things McCain said. Obama also said "your wrong" or "I disagree" plenty of times. McCain agreed with Obama's alternative energy plans, with some additions to it. But he never openly admitted it. Obama wasnt afraid to agree on a common ground. McCain on the other hand just showed stubborness and disrespect the way he preformed. The willingness to agree and disagree doesnt show in McCain, I dont trust him at all.
This guy is just blowing my mind.If anything we're fighting a war on terror, but how exactly does on wage war on a belief of a group of people scattered across the world and think there's a possible victory?
If we're victorious of anything it's violating the sovereign rights of a country. We're victorious of spending trillions of dollars and thousands of lives. for what? so we can re-build a government that we destroyed? come on mccain we need a new sales pitch.
We're winning in Iraq? Is that what i just heard McCain say? again, is he out of his fucking mind? What exactly are we "winning"? i didn't know a police action had a side of victory to it.
No sweetheart, a police action was what Clinton did while our embassies were bombed, the USS Cole, the killing of our state dept. employee, the plot against Bush the elder, the shooting at our planes, the downing of our drone. I can take you to the al Farooq mosque where the blind sheik recruited today, this goes back to the killing of Kahane, the Brooklyn bridge murder, the 1st WTC bombing, btw Yasin came from Iraq. I worked on the Iraq doc. project, we should be there and in Paki/Afghanistan
Honestly, what is 'winning'? 150,000 Iraq civilian deaths. 500,000 displaced. You can assess the quality of a country by the following: If you didn't know where you would be placed in a society, where would you choose to live. Norway, Sweden, Canada, N.Z., Australia etc... US is way down the list. Poor public healthcare. Poor public education. Expensive higher education. One of the highest rates of poverty in dev. world. High pollution. WAKE UP AMERICA. PLEASE DON'T VOTE FOR A REPUBLICAN AGAIN.
"failed strategy that will then cause u to nearly loose a conflict..."
why would u implement a failed strategy in the first place, way to start off.
how is America winning in Iraq when the rest of the world hates what has been done there! are they winning this battle based on how many Iraqis are left in the country?
The issue here is whether McCain has the better judgement as commander in chief leading the US army. On Iraq he had very bad judgement. It is not HIS achievement that things are better in Iraq now nor the effort of the Bush administration, it's the achievement of one brave and clever general who stood up against Bush "State of Denial".
LOL i like how obama makes a point, and mcain just tries to make obama look bad.. I may be canadian, but hell, i'd take obama for my prime minister in a second, the guy is a class act and will do the first good in a while for the people of The U.S.
rocknrollse7en u r the biggest idiot on the planet. the only thing that has cum from the war in iraq is death. the death of good citizens fighting in a dumb war. im sure there rn't many people who think gettin ur arm blown off in desert country is positive. john mcCain is jus anotha disaster waiting 2 happen. with him in office there will b even more casualties.
This video displays the almost one time in Obama's voting history where he actually didn't go with the popular flow and actually stuck by what he voted for.
However he completly fails to mention any of the positives that have occured because of Iraq which are numerous, besides deflecting the issue of "how we are going to leave Iraq which is the original question". Yet another classic example of Obama never actually answering the question but deflecting it to something that isnt even on point.
The false assumption that republican supports make is that if we don't intervene, the world will get out of control. STOP IT! John McCain is a great person, he has fought for his country but WAR IS NOT A SOLUTION- it should be a LAST RESORT...John McCain needs to stop claiming what would have been if the US went into IRAQ. Electing Barack Obama doesn't mean US becoming a weaker conuntry... it actually means more economic strength, which will lead to more military force (3:35-4!!!)
Obama won that debate hands down! Mcsain is just a confused little man who should just go away. Bush has all but destroyed America. How can anyone support somebody who agrees with Bush 90% of the time? Look at McSain's VP choice. How can anyone still truly take that campaign seriously after he chose the idiot that is Palin. Please, nobody bother to defend her because you'll just make a fool of yourself. McSain would've had a much better chance if he chose someone else. McChicken will lose!
ok we might win in other countries at war, but we will loose in our country economicaly.
If we stay with the plan that we have now and stay at war, we will loose even more money, causing the U.S. to not have enough money to pay for troops. Notice how we had surplus money when a democrat ran the country 8 years ago. Then when a republican came, it droped radically. Knowing that, if we vote Mccain, who has favored with bush, the economy will drop lower then what it is now.
This is a no brainer, ask our enemies (Osama, Iran, N. Koreans, Russians and socialist Europeans) who they want to win.... and then if you are a real American, vote for the one that will make them fear us. They all want Obama, duh.. a no brainer. If you vote for Obama, you are voting with the enemies of America and therefore you are no different than the enemies of America.
McCain assumes that we're going to win in Iraq.. i haven't followed it so i have NO opinion of whether or not we're going to win.. but is it 1/2 or more of the pride of the U.S. that's keeping us there?
What if we lost? what would McCain say then? It'd be Vietnam all over.. which I don't think he could have dealt well with.
In this debate, McCain goes around in circles.. all i've heard him say so far is, "cut spending," [attack obama], "support the war."
700 billion dollars for a problem that didnt happen over night, but yet they want to cut after school programs for children, but yet they dont want to universalize health care, and they dont want to stop dependants on foriegn oil. i agree 100% with your statement mccain voted with bush 90% of the time and hes suppose to be the guy I trust?! McCain assissted in the problems not fix them. we have natural disasters and cant even help u.s. citizens cause the troops/ resources are in iraq.
Did I hear that correct? McCain said that their strategy has stopped Iran from growing in power??? My God what an unbelievably blatant lie: the invasion and toppling of Saddam eliminated Iran's primary nemesis and since Iran has become the defacto power in the region. No future building up of Iraq's military will alter that fact. I strongly opposed the war for the same self-evident reasons Obama lists. Missling a few of Saddam's palaces regularly would have been enough, just like Kadhafi.
never go to war without overwhelming forces. therefore how can the strategy be working? never go to war without an exit strategy. this is simple facts of the art of war i mean damn you can play xbox and learn that fact. the lessons of this war arent to be learned from weapons, or the tactics, but from the egos of those in power. as far as soldiers re-upping their enlistments thats what soldiers do they will never run from a fight my father servided 3 tours in nam for the same reasons (semper fi)
i agree on your veiws of how war is addressed, but with war nothing is won without loss. war is not going to unite nations, it will seperate them. when this planet becomes unified( which won't happen in our lifetimes most likley) it will not have been done through war
i dont think the world can ever become unified cause there will always be conflic. i do however think there can be a meeting of the minds for the sake of compromise. no one nations ideals are solely correct on every issue just as you stated peace wont be done through war. therefore our next president shouldnt be a warmonger and use his mind instead of his weapons of war, and if war is the answer do it intelligently with the proper strategies. if 2 people on youtube can do this then why cant they
That's true. I noticed that a lot in McCain. He also seems to snicker at a lot of Obama's points about him. I don't know whether this is a strategy of his or he is nervous about something, but I think that this is one minor detail people should look at sometimes.
Sounds like McCain's military strategy for winning the war in Iraq is very similar to the strategic hamlet programs that they were running in the south and central regions of vietnam to zero success.Phony war hero who squeeled to the NVA from day one and was so willing to give the Vietbamese information they code named him "Song bird"
how can we come home with "victory and honor" when we know that tons of our soldiers have basicly died for nothing??grr. Obama/Bidon for president!!we need change, no more of bush crap!!
For internal policy, the Constitution is what it is. But for international policy, there is no constitution, there's only decision-making and national interests. I find Ron Paul to be a straight-forward, who speaks the truth and tries to get a message across, and I wish he had been offered more exposure. Ultimately, he's not Republican enough and too outspoken on foreign policy to be taken seriously by campaign contributors and therefore by the media. In a sense, he's too original. Such a shame.
And what the hell is the defination of "winning the war"? How can we win against a people who have been fighting eachother for 3,000 years? Are we going to suddenly change the way they live and think? And we have yet to go after thoes actually responcible for the 9/11 attack.
"Considering Obama, not in contrast, but alone, is definitely a potential president. I was considering Ron Paul, but Ron Paul is about the Constitution - JUST the constitution."
Our constitution is ALL we need. As soon as we figure that out we will all be much better off, here.

mccain is full of shit, as usual. this guy is the worst debater, dishonest, trying to bullshit the American people...i think its hilarious that people actually buy this crap...you all who are for mccain must be as gullible and as stupid as he is..oh yeah, earths hottest guy? you seem like the earths stupidist and ugliest guy..lets put you on a ship and send you off somewhere where only idiots live.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
obamas looks like a freakin ape. look at his ears. how can anyone look at this nerdy looking monkey as someone respectful enough to be president. he doesnt have the stature.. mccain has a more mature looking stature then obama. look at obamas face. and then compare it to all the past presidents faces. exactly my point. who cares about this monkey , wheres his ship at? ship him off to the haiti or something. hispanics like him cause they cant read and they think hes hispanic not half black lol
what the hell is wrong with u. i think that its really direspectful to everyone involved to come up with such racist comments. u dont need to be involved in any political anything because nothing would ever get accomplished.
let me understand this correctly...your a manm, judging another mans features, but yet you call him an ape which is a primative human? sounds like your brain hasnt evolved above that of what you call him, an ape. so when you go vote you say "fuck the issues" im voting for this man because he looks mature and has a good stature compared to the others? but hey if you got a thing for old white men thats your choice but that is a primative way of picking your elected officals earthshottestape.
McCain Rocks, I don't care what people say about him, I think 25 years of congressional experience far exceeds retard, Barack Obama's 143 days of being in the Senate. People in this country need to wake up and realize who will be the better candidate in the end. They also need to stop being rude about Sarah Palin, just because she's hot and wise, you all 'don't need be hatin,'
i agree with you mccains exsperience is uncanny....25 years of fucking shit up great exsperiences. great exsperiences of voting with bush 90% of the time. We need to stop hatin sarah palin cause shes not wise?! you gotta be kidding me. You yourself cant even believe what you seriously just typed. You are implying that you dont need to be wise to run the most powerful country on the planet if need be. i wont even allow you to say something as unintelligent as that please re think and retype.
As someone who stood in harm's way to defend Democracy and Freedom, I am steamed right now. I took two bullets for this mother fucker so he and his bot army could have the "freedom" to suppress our collective American voices? I think not!!! And I have to find out about this on YouTube instead of national news channels???
I have rarely been as disgusted with a presidential candidate. Now, I'm beyond disgusted considering....
7:03 This time, Sen. McCain doesn't allow Sen. Obama to interrupt him. Obama is being rude - interrupting to put McCain off his point (which is spot-on-topic and very damaging to Obama). It's appropriate for McCain to ignore him.
mccain lied on obama all night. obama won because this debate was about mccain strongest platform and obama maade it look like his weakest. next debate is obama's strongest platform. mccain economy plan is cut spending. lol nice plan mccain lmao
Is Obama demonstrating his ability to reach out to people with differing opinions? By talking over them and harassing them while they get their point across? Is this Obama's idea of the 1st Amendment? Is this how liberals communicate?
This isn't Change. This the same old partisan rudeness that has infected Washington since the Clinton Administration.
OBAMA is offering more changed then what we had in the last 8 years. he had to talk over him at some time. mccain was spewing out lie, after lie, after lie. he had to defend himself and his position.
John McCain is trying to tell you he wants to suspend his Campaign. He's tired. He wants out. They had to force him to get his butt out on that stage. Well you can understand that, Obama is tough. Hey dude we need 700 billion dollars. The Bush/McCain republican economy is going down the tube. Hey Bush is going to give this big important speech about how he don't know what the hell happened to the economy under Republican rule. He wants his tax cuts back. What idiots republicans are.
Debate meaningless if election is fixed. Why does New Hampshire STILL use black box voting when it is now apparent to EVERYONE that they are easy to rig. Does democracy not matter in USA? Why is this still happening?
Every on knows white men are evil and make bad presidents. mmmmm but a black man now that's refreshing..... ahh you can smell it the air like a mourning shit.
I respect pro-life opinions, I do. But it is really silly to vote for someone because they SAY they are pro-life. Think about it, what have any of these Republican presidents done about it? They say they are pro-life but Roe Vs. Wade still stands. So I hope you are not voting Republican either!! So Relic, do you have any other reasons for voting Republican?
hellkenny2000 (WTF?) exhibits the liberal flip side: they cry to be kind-hearted; all about the the poor & downtrodden, hearts bleeding for the clueless, friends and suckers to all: but let anyone disagree with their mantra--God (if they believe) help ya. The nasty, foul, lefty fury knows no bounds.
But what goes around comes around. The KKK-style hate of the 60's, which TRUE liberals fought to eradicate, has re-emerged in the Kos-liberal, hate-mongering of the 21st Century. It's putrid.
i dont really think none of these to might even get a chance to become president ok let me give you one point 1 obama he wins of course we all know hes gonna get shot trust me all the rascism in this country hes gonna shot and 2 john mccain that old dumb piece of ass is gonna die anyway cause he has cancer and he has alot of other problems with him there both gonna die anyway soo the presidents were really gonna have a chance is joe biden or sarah plain or if am prounouncing plain wrong
I don't leave bad rating to fellow you tubers. Everyone is entitled to follow their own system of beliefs. I did not vote for Kerry nor will I vote for Obama. I am pro-life and I am republican and proud.
the reason that mccain blinks so much is cause he is bluffin and he is full of shit. anyone who thinks that mccain beat obama is just as retarded and ignorant as that old fuck. he could NEVER answer the questions and he kept flippin obamas words
eddievanpagebarret99: 'Scuse me, but were you trying to post something intelligent? Apparently, your keyboard staged an uprising because it detected your brain was on idle.
I was ready to hear what John McCain had to say on foreign policy-and especially with the Iraq situation, and I was disappointed. I was slightly offended that McCain believes most troops would like to stay in Iraq fighting a war which was wrong to begin with. I would have thought as a vet himself and a POW McCain would know better, and he really did not. That scares me if he is elected...
McCain spanks Obama back to the baby crib where he belongs. Look at the candidates records don't be dazzled by rhetoric and a pearly white smile. Talk is cheap...McCain walks the talk.
i definately agree with Obama on the war terms, the reason we went to war was for 9/11 then it all changed for oil and all that nonsense it needs to stop!
Well, xXDyingDarknessXx, if it was for "oil," why does Iraq have a nearly $80 billion surplus in its treasury & you're paying how much for gas? McCain & the Republicans are correct insisting that Iraq should start repaying at least something. But Obama's a clueless cipher; a gas-bag for the left-wing, "America's always wrong" crowd that trusts kumbayah.
Sure, close Gitmo. And you're ready for the Adopt-a-Terrorist program? Got a comfy spare room ready for Ahmed "I Behead You" Mohammed?
Mccain scolds obama like a little child that has been caught with his hand in the cookie jar and says "i didnt do it" lol look honestly a Vote for Obama is a vote for infanticide, higher taxes and bigger goverment and more UHHHH's from obama
Mccain 2008 in a serious time hire a serious president
Serious time for a serious president and you say McCain when he sees eye to eye with Bush????? If McCain is elected the same BS will continue as Bush has let go down: we will still be in Iraq for who knows how long, companies will still outsource OUR JOBS overseas and we will always be in debt. Give me a break
"I've got a bracelet, but I wish I had a tiara." I think he's really disappointed about this whole Miss Congeniality thing. Guess he wants to live vicariously through Ms. Palin.

guess what people? we haven't gotten an ounce of oil from iraq since the war started, simply because the Iraqi government isnt selling any yet. they cant! they are too busy trying to maintain power and write their new policies for a democracy that was a dictatorship only years ago. Saddam killed 3 million of his own people! weve given 29 million people back their freedom and even given them a right to vote! the iraq war isnt just about us people, its about making the world a place of freedom...

Obama, how disappointing. You speak so eloquently on why you shouldn't enter into a war here, but then you turn around and propose going into Libya with both the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq unfinished. Also, how horrible is it that the people of those states are abused by foreign invaders. Shame on you!

how can you have a war on terror
terror is an intangible thing
it's an abstract noun
you can have a war on terrorists but not terrorn
nouns name people, places, and things. One class of nouns is abstract
Your five senses cannot detect this group of nouns
You cannot see them, hear them, smell them, taste them, or physically feel them
so think about having a war on an terror
it's not possible

personally i see Barack Obama as the American version of Australia's Gough Whitlam
when i studied Australian History Gough Whitlam
ran for leadership doing much the same as Barack is doing and then when he got in he withdrew Australian troops from Vietnam within days of being elected and did a bunch of crazy stuff that screwed Australia over
they seriously got screwed
so they got rid of him
i expect if Obama gets in he will be assassinated
and probably by a 'terrorist'
DaftPACman 3 years ago
the war in Iraq didn't really begin in 2003
it began in the gulf war in 1990 and since that failed america is back to 'help' the Iraqis govern their country
each time America was going to pull out bush said it needed to remain until a sense of security and peace was established
how the hell can a sense of peace be established when well over 1 million have FOUGHT in Iraq since 2001
and there are 150000 American troops currently
this time America will not leave, not even when there is 'peace'

MCCAIN IS an UNFIT PRESIDENT AND OBAMA IS an UNFIT PRESIDENT. Is it too late? COULD A COMPETENT CHILD OF GOD PLEASE STEP UP AND LEAD US. Neither one of them are morally correct! Obama/PRO-CHOICE and McCain/PRO-WAR. So therefore I am unable to vote!,, They are both just yelling from opposite sides of the same boat. The boat is going to sink if we don't do the right thing and quit arguing over who does it better! I vote NEITHER! If we would use the guide God gave us we wouldn't have this problem!

one of the reason's people think clinton was so great is that he got great press, no matter what, and used the press as obama does now. Instead of inviting foreign dignitaries over he had press and friends stay at the white house, over for huge dinners, mrs clinton traveled more than any other first lady, taking tons of press wherever she went, travelgate, etc...no obama has out "clintoned" clinton, and people, have these enourmous ideas about how great he is, when if fact he has proven nothing

y is everyone blaming every mistake that this country has made on bush!its really pissing me off.the last time i checked, the majority of the house of representatives and senate have been democrats for the last 8 years.its not bushes fault its everybodys fault that the economy is going down in this shithole.
lilj4life305 3 years ago
another victim of the Palin-McCain No Child Left Behind 'strategery'. Please advise this nitwit that it was not until Jan of O7 that Democrats gained a slim but numerically inefectual majority in the house and senate. The Republicans dominated the house and senate before Bush was mis-elected and for the following 6 years.

Thats a good point except for the fact that while everyone was calling for economic reform Bush stood up there and insisted we weren't even in a recession and then a few months later surprise he admits that we are and comes up with this bailout plan.
tacha363 3 years ago
What is so alarming to me is how the failure of regulation has allowed businesses to get so large [ and their CEO's so wealthy in the bargain]they cannot be allowed to fail. The Republican party has worked overtime to strip away sensible regulation, advising us that the unfettered market would would always serve us well. Instead it has brought us to the brink of ruin.
molloyx 3 years ago
sorry it was polosi, and raines, etc who did that, they laughed at McCain when he years ago tried to regulate this market, and bush put up bills calling for stricter measures also to be defeated.

THe disparity between the rich and poor has been steadily increasing since the early 80's and is now on par with the disparity that existed in the 1920's!
moonkat6 3 years ago
yes and when McCain and Bush asked congress for regulation they were laughed at, and blocked, and called racist, by the black democratic leaders, and now they shout it's their fault, how ironic people dont look at the fatcs. And the fact Biden is the one who srote into law the new bankrupcy rules that take morgage protection away from personal bankrupcy laws, lmao, yet he and Obama will "save us", please people get a clue and stop drinking the koolaide

Obama is a joke, a talking head, nothing more, hasnt passed but 2 bills in his 2 years of congress, one of getting park's picture on a stamp, please, let us see what he has to offer not hear what he says he would do
THEMASTEROFYOU2000 3 years ago
If u wanna bash Obama u really shouldn't compare him to Clinton. Personal scandals aside he was one of our greatest presidents and unemployment and poverty were at a low during his term So clinton talked and delivered.
tacha363 3 years ago
actually if you'll look it up, until this year the unemplyoyment rate has been lower ubder Bush than ever under clinton, and besides clinton sending nuclear power to north korea, his family selling secrets to china, he taking of foreign money for elections, his impeachment, yea, I'd say clinton did a great job, of ruining our political scene, hes the one who developed the"one party philosophy" in American politics, now run well by the dems, if you dont believe as they do you an idiot, childish
THEMASTEROFYOU2000 3 years ago
I don't know where you're getting your numbers but thats just not true. The economy under Bush has been bad for awhile its just that he's finally admitting it to himself where as before he wouldn't even admit we were ina recession. Maybe he knows absolutely nothing about economics or maybe he was just in denial who knows.

tacha363 3 years ago
well Mr econimics major, if that is so then you better study more, my numbers come from the congressional record, the public record of fannie mac pac funds, and from obama's books he wrote supposidly by himself. I have stated nothing but facts, and if people truely look into the issues and what is said vs what the facts show as true then without a doubt if one pursues obama after reading the facts then a fool they be, Im sorry the obama train is the saddest thing to happen in american history
THEMASTEROFYOU2000 3 years ago
I dont know the numbers or havent seen the numbers, but even though your numbers may be accurate in text. The economy will show otherwise unless you've been living in a cave. Undoubtablly, Bush has made tons of mistakes during his presidency, and even though it looks good, later down the road when he isn't president anymore that's when you'll see the results of his wrong decisions.
Windstrucked 3 years ago
History has shown that the results of a president will not be fully shown until the next president's era rather it be McCain or Obama, they will have to make up for these mistakes.
Windstrucked 3 years ago
the economy, sir, has taken a huge hit due to the scare tactics of the media, fueled bu American's disgust with the status quo, of "leaders" of huge banks who have followed suit in the morgage industry, which has been led by Clinton's man Raines@fannie mae, until his ouster he made over 90 million, cooked the books to do so.

I worked on the Iraq doc. project, we should be there and in Paki/Afghanistan
averitas 3 years ago
Honestly, what is 'winning'? 150,000 Iraq civilian deaths. 500,000 displaced. You can assess the quality of a country by the following: If you didn't know where you would be placed in a society, where would you choose to live. Norway, Sweden, Canada, N.Z., Australia etc... US is way down the list. Poor public healthcare. Poor public education. Expensive higher education. One of the highest rates of poverty in dev. world. High pollution. WAKE UP AMERICA. PLEASE DON'T VOTE FOR A REPUBLICAN AGAIN.

Yet another classic example of Obama never actually answering the question but deflecting it to something that isnt even on point.
rocknrollse7en 3 years ago
The false assumption that republican supports make is that if we don't intervene, the world will get out of control. STOP IT! John McCain is a great person, he has fought for his country but WAR IS NOT A SOLUTION- it should be a LAST RESORT...John McCain needs to stop claiming what would have been if the US went into IRAQ. Electing Barack Obama doesn't mean US becoming a weaker conuntry... it actually means more economic strength, which will lead to more military force (3:35-4!!!)

ok we might win in other countries at war, but we will loose in our country economicaly.

Missling a few of Saddam's palaces regularly would have been enough, just like Kadhafi.

never go to war without overwhelming forces. therefore how can the strategy be working? never go to war without an exit strategy. this is simple facts of the art of war i mean damn you can play xbox and learn that fact. the lessons of this war arent to be learned from weapons, or the tactics, but from the egos of those in power. as far as soldiers re-upping their enlistments thats what soldiers do they will never run from a fight my father servided 3 tours in nam for the same reasons (semper fi)
hvywtchamp01 3 years ago
i agree on your veiws of how war is addressed, but with war nothing is won without loss. war is not going to unite nations, it will seperate them. when this planet becomes unified( which won't happen in our lifetimes most likley) it will not have been done through war
fuffale 3 years ago
i dont think the world can ever become unified cause there will always be conflic. i do however think there can be a meeting of the minds for the sake of compromise. no one nations ideals are solely correct on every issue just as you stated peace wont be done through war. therefore our next president shouldnt be a warmonger and use his mind instead of his weapons of war, and if war is the answer do it intelligently with the proper strategies. if 2 people on youtube can do this then why cant they
hvywtchamp01 3 years ago
That's true. I noticed that a lot in McCain. He also seems to snicker at a lot of Obama's points about him. I don't know whether this is a strategy of his or he is nervous about something, but I think that this is one minor detail people should look at sometimes.

And we have yet to go after thoes actually responcible for the 9/11 attack.
kwwyatt 3 years ago 2
"Considering Obama, not in contrast, but alone, is definitely a potential president. I was considering Ron Paul, but Ron Paul is about the Constitution - JUST the constitution."
Our constitution is ALL we need. As soon as we figure that out we will all be much better off, here.

obamas looks like a freakin ape. look at his ears. how can anyone look at this nerdy looking monkey as someone respectful enough to be president. he doesnt have the stature.. mccain has a more mature looking stature then obama. look at obamas face. and then compare it to all the past presidents faces. exactly my point. who cares about this monkey , wheres his ship at? ship him off to the haiti or something. hispanics like him cause they cant read and they think hes hispanic not half black lol

let me understand this correctly...your a manm, judging another mans features, but yet you call him an ape which is a primative human? sounds like your brain hasnt evolved above that of what you call him, an ape. so when you go vote you say "fuck the issues" im voting for this man because he looks mature and has a good stature compared to the others? but hey if you got a thing for old white men thats your choice but that is a primative way of picking your elected officals earthshottestape.

McCain Rocks, I don't care what people say about him, I think 25 years of congressional experience far exceeds retard, Barack Obama's 143 days of being in the Senate. People in this country need to wake up and realize who will be the better candidate in the end. They also need to stop being rude about Sarah Palin, just because she's hot and wise, you all 'don't need be hatin,'
brittanypianist13 3 years ago
i agree with you mccains exsperience is uncanny....25 years of fucking shit up great exsperiences. great exsperiences of voting with bush 90% of the time.

Off-topic response, and find the caps key.
SpareParts2 3 years ago
off topic response, make me lol.
OBAMA is offering more changed then what we had in the last 8 years. he had to talk over him at some time. mccain was spewing out lie, after lie, after lie. he had to defend himself and his position.
Ceddyohtwo 3 years ago 3
John McCain is trying to tell you he wants to suspend his Campaign. He's tired. He wants out. They had to force him to get his butt out on that stage. Well you can understand that, Obama is tough. Hey dude we need 700 billion dollars. The Bush/McCain republican economy is going down the tube. Hey Bush is going to give this big important speech about how he don't know what the hell happened to the economy under Republican rule. He wants his tax cuts back. What idiots republicans are.

That scares me if he is elected...

i definately agree with Obama on the war terms, the reason we went to war was for 9/11 then it all changed for oil and all that nonsense it needs to stop!
xXDyingDarknessXx 3 years ago 3
Well, xXDyingDarknessXx, if it was for "oil," why does Iraq have a nearly $80 billion surplus in its treasury & you're paying how much for gas? McCain & the Republicans are correct insisting that Iraq should start repaying at least something. But Obama's a clueless cipher; a gas-bag for the left-wing, "America's always wrong" crowd that trusts kumbayah.
Sure, close Gitmo. And you're ready for the Adopt-a-Terrorist program? Got a comfy spare room ready for Ahmed "I Behead You" Mohammed?

guess what people? we haven't gotten an ounce of oil from iraq since the war started, simply because the Iraqi government isnt selling any yet. they cant! they are too busy trying to maintain power and write their new policies for a democracy that was a dictatorship only years ago. Saddam killed 3 million of his own people! weve given 29 million people back their freedom and even given them a right to vote! the iraq war isnt just about us people, its about making the world a place of freedom...
