Doing arts from material designed to build houses has something special. I'd like to do a sculpture for my father.

I have difficulties with the cement, especially to let it "glue" on the vertical surface of the mesh or even more when I have to apply it upside down. It's very fluent also.. How do you get this pasty consistence? do you use less water or do you put additives? Do you use normal Cement or cement that glues a little more?

i need to make a mold for a submarine hull 40ft x 7 ft dia. how can i do this?--i was thinking of using a wooden stirp lanked mold ..then cover it with rebar and a couple layers of 4 inch square mesh..my question is ..will the concrete be thick enough to apply on the armiture so that it doesnt run off the mold...or does the mold have to be closed? i thought of a slip form too but not sure how that works?..? any suggestions?..you seem to know your stuff..how viscous is the normal slump of cc?
