I feel a pinch slow for asking but how exactly do you seal your ends? What do you do to them? (I dont know much about hair "resurrection" but ima try!)
@SomeHowImLostInYou please don't. we learn by asking questions. first you moisturize your hair with a water based moisturizer like elasta qp mango butter, then you next apply an oil to your ends such as coconut oil or olive oil to lock in the moisturizer. It's like if you ever stepped out of the shower and applied a bath oil like baby oil. It's best to do that when your skin is still kind of damp so that you lock in the moisture. Same thing applies to the hair. Hope this helps.
@daesha32 that is design essentials shampoo and conditioner. I really love them especially the conditioner. They smell heavenly. I've moved on though. I use Biosilk and Kera Care as my leading shampoos. I use Kera Care for first two months especially with roller sets. I use Biosilk for blow outs in the 2nd and 3rd months. If I stretch longer, I switch to the cheaper moisturizing shampoo and conditioners. Occasionally, I use Mane & Tail but only with a fresh relaxer.
Yes I'm glad u mentioned the Elasta QP cuz alot of times the very thing tht wrks for us is discontinued because we didn't support the product and share reviews w others...we gotta keep tht product on the shelf lol

@naylita100 Omgosh. Youtube is getting crazy. I don't always get my messages anymore. A lot of times, I have to watch the video to see messages. I had no idea you sent this message until today. Sorry for the delay. I start with a creamy leave-in conditioner, Garnier Fructis Leave-in conditioning cream Sleek and Shine. Warning the smell might take some getting used to. I also use Elasta QP mango butter, and I seal with coconut oil in the spring and summer and olive oil in the winter.
@mizzstar21 Creme of Nature, Kera Care, Neutrogena Triple Moisture, Nexxus, Herbal Essence, Suave Humectant and Design Essentials are good ones. But you could always do a prepoo before your shampoo or cowash just in case you don't have the moisturizing shampoo right off. A prepoo is where you add olive oil, coconut oil or whatever kind of oil you have to your deep conditioner. Apply it and let it sit for about 20 minutes and then wash your hair. That way you can't lose.
@peaceandshine Dusting means to lightly cut ONLY about a 1/2 inch or LESS off the ends of your hair if they are tangling up, look kind of raggedy or are different lengths. Dusting is something you should do when you are comfortable with your hair and you know what your doing because I would hate for you to take off more than intended. So if you are trying this, look for videos on youtube using the word "dusting" but try it only when you are comfortable with the method. HHG.

Is this song offensive to anyone. If so, I'll change it, but the choices are not as cool.

Do you know a good moisturizing shampoo for dry damaged, natural hair? or any one that you love?
