Democrats fought hard against it, & tried to fillbuster it. So this magically suddnely changed in 1969 after generations of that being the point. The KKK is part of the democratic party. The progressives and the democrats both exist on a platform that the Elite are better able to think and make choices than others, thus they must control directly, or indirectly what everyone does to keep everyone on the path they say is best.

The way they go about this, since it has failed many times to do it all at once, and out in the open about the goal, is to come in under the pretense of convincing you they are helping you, then as you grow more and more dependent on them, they gain mre and more control over you. Do your research.
