Unfortunately these aren't far from the truth. When I was an undergrad in Physics it was hard to believe how poorly the classes were taught. But most of my profs were adjuncts trying desperately to get tenure. No one gets tenure based on their teaching only how much money they pull into the school, and how much of their current research the uni can sell. The game is stacked against profs and students. And then they want you to go deep in debt in order to attend. SCAM!!!
