  • i just love these guys !!!!! i sure hated to lose Michel :-(

  • Grand Masters!

  • just perfect

  • Hall Is god *---*, i'm impressed with petrucciani performance too, and about the theme, duke is the master.....

  • I think that's the best version..

  • both are legends

  • A sensitive treatment of a great tune by two top artists.

  • simplemente * * * * *

  • bravo

  • How can someone not like such a wonderful demonstration of feeling and musicmanship?

  • @rockaroller yeah the musicmanship here is sweet

  • Bravo Petrucciani!!

  • Both are incredible magnificent extraordinary huge colossal astounding GIANTS.

  • They made the composition sing, but Ellington and Coltrane make it cry!

  • Absolutely gorgeous. Not only is this one of my favorite songs of all time, but Jim Hall is just absolutely incredible. No one played more tastefully. And not to let Petrucciani's performance go unmentioned. Simply virtuosic, on both accounts.

  • Does anyone know what comes after this song? Video ends when they continue playing, where can i find this whole live performance ?

  • @exitlp It's on a CD called "Power of Three" that includes Wayne Shorter. I don't know if a video is available.

  • Anyone know what guitar that is? - Sounds gorgeous!

  • @pobollo It's handmade by the late luthier Jimmy D'Aquisto. Fantastic isn't it? :)

  • Questa è magia!!!!!!!

  • Beautiful guitar

  • respetos

  • Is this from "Power of three"?

  • Necesito este audio. I need this audio. Does anyone have it or know how to get it?

  • Petrucciani, the man.

  • Tema compuesto por DUKE ELLINGTON !!

  • Both of them are great !!

  • that guitarist doesn't have much of a sentimentality....he's just doodling

  • @freeqwerqwer smh wow bro. youre talking about Jim Hall like that? You don;'t realy know youre jazz music

  • @freeqwerqwer I'm not a big fan of Hall's style either. His solos sound super-disjointed. Great tone though - and Petrucciani really rocks on this one.

  • It's so beautiful to listen to them play this familiar tune, both.

  • So gorgeous I wept gold.

  • Jim hall comes from another planet.

  • una astrazione che solo in a sentimental mood può regalare .... e naturalmente michael

  • dream..

  • wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • the finale is epic ...

  • 4:47 GREAT FEELING

  • wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Gran bel commento "lettore725580" !

    Lettore 725580

  • Inspiring !

  • michell petrucciani, is the best; hall good guitars interpretation Duke

  • this is the best of duo players

  • Hall is really good at duo with pianist. I do respect both of these two great players.

  • @uroio8w I have many recordings with Jim Hall being part of a group, where he may not be the "leader" , but his contribution is always so significant - as on his collaboration with Chet Baker and Paul Desmond

  • @uroio8w hes just as great with saxaphones! :D look up the bossa antigua album but im sure you know

  • Jim Hall is a favvo since I play guitar. And this is also is a lovely tune.

Petrucciani is quite knew to me I'm sad to say. I've heard of him but not really listened.

Now anyway Jim Hall - He's got a way of getting into it! He's harmonic is always excellent, and everyone here seems to neglect him!

  • amazing !

  • Amazing performance!!

Two of my favorite musicians.. I'd give my life for a jam with Michel!

  • love this interpretation but you skip a really beautiful intro

  • CLASS !

  • Thanks Petruc for all the great creation you let us with to enjoy, I know you are having fun playing to God too

  • Michel could make any song he wishes - sound great. And Jim Hall is stellar with his work too.

  • this man is an utter genius and God took him early for some reason. I am loving every second of the piano part.

  • YAYA....let's get to the piano part!

  • This is the JAZZ

  • ooooooo yeeaaaaa...... ;-)

  • this is wat its about

  • Awesome (even if I prefer when Coltrane and Ellington are playing it)

  • It' s so pity : when Michel plays

with another solist he is given only

    20% of th time.

    Every note is a diamant.

  • I hear ya. :)

  • I hear him throughout.....he's awesome, but exponentially with the two of them :)
