@Jay500500500 There's a guy on youtube here who mated up a 700r4 to this engine, so I'm assuming just about any Turbo Hydromatic transmissions by GM will fit the motor.
If you're looking for a manual transmission, Aisin, Tremec, and Borg Warners should work.
