This is called The Ketchup song because it was originally performed by the Spanish pop group Las Ketchup and the dance they did was called The Ketchup Dance. (Not making this up, its true). The song is about a gangster in a nightclub who's theme song is "Rapper's Delight" by Sugarhill Gang ("I said a hip hop, the hippie, the hippie...").

The original performers were daughters of a flamenco artist called "El Tomate," (The Tomato), so they called their group "Las Ketchup." In non-Spanish speaking countries, the song is called "The Ketchup Song."
And wow, Charo still has it! April Lopez was thirty years ago and she's still hot!
