The gameplay of Hail to the King isn't that good really. Its very static and the controls are just awful. They did the same epic fail in the sequel. Only Regeneration was remotely playable to the end.

I didn't like Regeneration that much, it just didn't feel like Evil Dead to me. I mean theres a couple levels where you fight Deadites in broad daylight. If I'm not mistaken, Deadites only come out at night, based on what I've seen in the movies.

In the first movie, the Demons in the woods roamed around in daylight and even in the first film after sunrise Ash got possessed at the end of the film. It's just in the sequel that they needed a way for Ash to come back so they made the whole thing about it being banished by the morning sun.

this was a cool game, great concept but VERY hard. i remember standing in one place killing a deadite just to have another one spawn up in the exact same place. THREE TIMES

i just bought it off eBay I'll get started on it soon. but i think this game should be re-made. keep the story and just get rid of the Resident Evil contrtols, shitty camera, and improve the graphics big time!
