But for believers, our sabbath rest is in Christ as we rest from our works (Hebrews 4), and is not a certain day of the week set aside (Romans 14). The NT nowwhere commands us to keep a sabbath day. The Israelites were commanded to keep the sabbath as a sign of their covenant with God (Exodus 19-20) and as shadow of the reality with now have in Christ (Colossians 2:14-16).

Before the sun was created, God was the light, and it will be that way again on the new earth according to Rev....no sun. And yes it is clear on the length of the day, evening and morning. Unless of course you think we used to spin much slower because God couldn't create fast enough.

@MaskofMystery You no what meant the earth had to spinning to get night and day.Yea stated night and day. Actually Jupiter has a very short day maybe I should use a planet with a longer day. Well just say, it has a one year day. You can not determine the length of day and night with out the exact amount of hours. Not to mention if god was the light then there would have always have been day until he decided to leave.

@machinedean100 Yeah Jupiter spins on its axis once every 10 hours. But if earth spun significantly faster or slower then life would not be possible. That proves the length of the day. If you want to wait years between days 4 and 5 ok but the plants will die.
Yes there was day when he was there....that's what it says. Day 1 was day even without the sun. So was day 6, with the sun.
What exactly do u believe anyway?

I'll have to admit, what he present is fascinating. But he's incredibly difficult to sit through. Between him and Billy Crone, he's a bit boring, lol. I could see where he was losing some in the audience.
