  • Excellent...many thanks to everyone who has put the effort to make this possible :-)

  • I am very happy to see the vidoe Lecture - 1 Introduction to Finite Element Method after you give this Lecture Series on Computational Methods in Design and Manufacturing

  • Nice Video Lecture - 1 Introduction to Finite Element Method That You Share , So Very Nice Thanks You

  • Your Video Is Very Useful Sharing Lecture 1 Introduction to Finite Element Method

  • very interesting.. thanx..

  • Sir, thank you for sharing this video. and keep up the good work. This video has helped me so much in getting a grip over the subject. once again a great thankyou for the people who helped, post this video and to Dr. R. Krishnakumar.

  • Loved it thankx for sharing

  • well delivered lecture

  • I didn't know 'stupidity' had another name, yours.

  • Why cant I find Lecture 2 & 4 ? How many in total are there ???

  • @abhijithero. Say that after rejecting the knowledge of science (including the subject of this video) that came from the West and sticking to your own traditional science. Otherwise keep quiet.

  • impressive video!! Thanks for this information, very usefull.

  • Indians are generally naive. Modern science, including this theory, originated in the West . Indians learned from them directly and used/copied their texts. What is Indian in this to boast about?. Even the trsanscripts of the lectures of the world's greatest technical institutions like MIT are available online for free use.

Instead of boasting and being non-sensical Indians should start to appreciate the West openly for the modern life they are enjoying now.

  • @checkitall1 Get lost, we know in west students cant respect their teachers. U dont come here and disturb us, thoose imperialists days are gone now.

  • @checkitall1 I'm from Australia, but dude, India basically invented maths. No Brahmagupta, no maths, so shut up.

  • @checkitall1 and only americans fuck their mothers and have children and denying that is nonsense

  • @DemonicWind you are talking about shit. Bull shit. You shut up

  • @checkitall1 Dude...when you say west what do you mean??? Indians invented zero...without zero there is nothing, Chinese invented paper and all other shit...Persians and Arabians invented a lot of math...and Jews invented and are inventing all remaining shit...and since all the above mentioned people are technically asians, west invented zilch...Soo unless you are Jewish or asian, Go to bed, masturbate and sleep coz thats what you dick less westerners are good for

  • @bharathsf I believe Greeks help a lot with Maths :)

  • @bharathsf the ignorance of this comment knows no bounds. Chinese invented "paper and all other shit", oh MY! Is that supposed to impress us? Your phrasing certainly doesn't. Have you got something against the West? Given the number of Indians flocking into our Western countries, I'd say you were being a bit hypocritical. You know, my friend who works out at sea once told me when he was heading out to Asia, they could smell India before they could see it.

  • @Kodiou Yeah right...I guess thats how Vasco Da Gama found his way and thats why all the west wanted to come over here and Columbus lost his way and found US...I am not hypocritical..I am just saying that the west acts as though they invented and discovered everything...Even I would love to come to the US but you must know without Asia the world wouldn't have had the civilization it is having now I got angry coz some idiot had posted how entire asians are a bunch of fools or something like that

  • Can somebody translate me "cros" (it sounded something like that) it seems to be related to the indian currency, but how many rupies is that?

  • Dr. Krishnakumar,

Sir, your teaching method is very systematic and effective...well done

    Ramasesh

  • thank you Sir.I have made up for what i was not able to study during my engineering student life.

  • helps a lot for beginers.. very usefull

  • professor you have got singer S P Balasubramanium s voice .cool .

  • he he he he ... Indian teacher..... !!!!!!!!!!!

  • to teri kyo jal rahi hai..

  • @9665985191 Thank you for your reply, it is very easy to judge you from your comment.... Have a nice day

  • @Asrauf What's so funny ? A few years from now you will wish to study in india. Expanding economy will transform this country into a hub for science and technology

  • @tttybhgf : Thank you for your comment, yes I will wish to study in India...expanding economy.....hub for science and technology.....ye..he he he ...

  • @Asrauf You will have to wait and see idiot. Btw I am not indian and never been there.

  • @tttybhgf: Thank you for your reply again, thank you for your information that I am an idiot..... No need to tell about you .... expressions are more powerful than words. Have a nice day.

  • @Asrauf You are an idiot for mocking someone's ethnicity. And ignorant about the changes happening around you. Good luck in life, you will need it

  • @tttybhgf: listen... I can also write messages full of abusive words... like you did... I mean it is so easy to do that.... you just drawn conclusions like an expert... I am ignorant..I am idiot... but the fact is words cant change reality.... If I am an ignorant then let it to be like that.

  • @tttybhgf : If India is "expanding economy", "hub for science and technology"...then why do you need to get my words stamp..... propaganda cant change reality.... what India is , it is...

  • @Asrauf "will"

  • ye India "will" change... but what about Indians??? would they change as well????

  • @Asrauf yes

  • gracias por el post

  • This is a great thing to offer on the internet. Thanks for the hard work.

  • pls tell some reference text books for these lectures

  • puka

  • thank you very much!

  • Very good, reminiscent of IIT days. Thanks for posting.

  • Excellent lectures on Finite Element Method! Thank you for sharing it with us. NPTEL, you just don't know how many people all over the world appreciate what you're doing. VIVA INDIA!.

  • Thank you for putting this series on the web. It was very useful.

  • Thanks!!!

    Awesome video!!

  • This seems to be nice lecture but this part doesnt include anything of value. If you know the concept of finite element method skip this lecture and go to next. This is only an introduction nothing but general knowledge.

  • WOW! I have no idea what is going on after lecture 10. When I learned beginners FEA in Canada, it is not this confusing. What's not so good about lectures is the lack of a text book. I have no way to get references on the mathematical concepts behind the theory. To me this lecture is just a waste of time.

  • You seem to be a illiterate trolling on youtube. Well, this place is not for you. Go entertain yourself with other pointless videos.

  • puka

  • @salam3556 ??? I mean this is a great video. I thank India for spending the time to make videos like this. This is better way than those 99% of pointless videos on you tube. However, it would be nice if i can buy a textbook or have a set of notes to go with the lecture.

  • Nice--but i was searching for the mathematical equations that govern the finite elements method--needed an explaining view there--and how the systems of differential equations are solved etc etc..However i enjoyed it!

  • @sanydreik watch the other 50 lectures if u have time :P

  • Great Video, helped a lot on my thesis on Electrical Engineering.

  • very very informative thanks for sharing with the world

  • hi, nice lecture.

which videos are next in this lecture series?

    thanks.

  • pahilario, Once you're done with this series of 33 lectures, you may want to continue on with the Advanced Finite Element Analysis lecture series. I'm on the 10th lecture of this advanced series and I find it very interesting. This advanced series is shorter than the introductory series. It has only 23 lectures.

  • Awesome video!! It helps a lot for the beginners.

  • i'm speechless... thank you

  • great resource, thanks!

  • thanks

  • Very informative and fun to watch.

  • शानदार वीडियो. यह प्रोग्राम साझा करने के लिए सबसे अच्छा विचार ज्ञान है

  • Excellent video. This program is the best idea to share knowledge.

  • thank you
