It is possible to be dressed as a mermaid while walking. For example Mariah Carey has already done that for halloween. GaGa didn't need to take a wheelchair. Moreover she could also have sung in the airs ore things like that. Don't think there is only one way to sing in mermaid outfits just because she used one.

I don't understand why GaGa is said to be "ripping off" Bet Middler, cause If you think about it logically, how else are you supposed to move around with a mermaid tail on? It's either having someone move you on a platform (as she did when she first performed as a mermaid) or using something like a wheelchair. Plus, the way GaGa performs as a mermaid is COMPLETELY different from this. I know GaGa takes from a lot of artists, but I really think it might've actually been a coincidence.

Lady Gaga purposely likes the controversy of copying other artists because it gives her attention (the only way she can stay in the news). It's all part of her marketing plan - "Bad press is good press" = fame. It's the only real thing she wants, everything else is just a means to an end for herself. She's not an artist, just a "rip off artist"

Bette is fab. For awhile it would have seemed that Gaga just took a page or two from the book of outrageous stars of the past, but it seems she has stolen the entire book. I like her, but anyone who thinks she is original is grossly misinformed.

People r crazy when it comes to gaga! u might compare her to previous pop stars but she sings awesome! Better Than madonna, brittany etc.. She also writes her own music, and plays multiple instruments! madonna, brittany, rhianna, etc.. dont have as much talent overall. her voice might not be as good as beyonce, or celine, yet! but shes 24 & still learning,
she is better than madonna& brit, and many others and she also writes her own music!

Gaga is just a stupid canned pop star, most of today's pop music is shit anyhow, autotuned, or using voice compression then using band in a can programs like ableton then they read a few lyrics then a computer engineer spends few weeks chopping it up into a hit pop song. There are many formulas for making canned pop hits for the teeny bop crowd who feeds on what mass media tells them to like. Gaga is a thief, and a no talent hack.

Bette! GaGa will NEVER EVER measure up to you. You voice does it for you. You don't NEED any fancy meat outfits, or OUTLANDISH LOONEY BIN outfits to be a hit, because you voice and personality, do it ALL for you. GaGa can play with different crazy imbecilic outfits, but she doesn't have your GIFT of voice. Your voice just flows and you are a LEGEND in your own time... Keep it goin!!
