C.D is an awesome disc, his voice does sound good, BUT imagin how it would sound if the old band was together, you can hear it, he was tryin to make his new band sound like the old, but it didn't work

Nah dude, he wasnt, he stuck to the style he's good at, and perhaps that may sound a little familiar to the old stuff, but he was in no way trying to make the new band sound like the old, and I believe in some songs they rivaled the old band, even surpassin them. That's not to say the old band's songs werent great, they are legendary. November rain, dont cry, estranged and all the other greats will remain just that, great!! =)

no it was the first song that was written FOR guns.

but few songs that were released as guns songs (like anythin goes, and reckless life) were written originally written for Hollywood Rose but recorded/released as GN'R

and as for the song being written before Slash joined: no.

check the booklet and you'll see that Slash has writing credit for it. Tracii, Ole and Rob (the first lead guitarist/bassist/drummer) didn't write anything and the songs didn't start comming until Slash & Duff were there.

is great to hear axl singin this song again.. i like bumblefoot solos but the guitar wasn't tuned on this song so it sounded bad... but axl did a good job... last tour he played this was in 1993, so is nice to hear this again...

he should release the songs that he is working on, all 2 or 3 albuns in once, as AXL ROSE,(not as GN'R) then tour with sebastian bach(angel down's tour), then come back with the old line-up... Slash, Duff, Izzy Steven and Axl... bcause they r the best band ever...

There are just few bands who are better with a new crew than before but this one definitely isn't. Axl still has the voice but it just ain't the same if you like it or not.
