OH MY GOD, i had goosebumps while watching it. i was just 9 then when BL.JPII arrived in the Philippines, i really want to attend the WYD but then, they told me i was too young, it would not be easy for me to go with them then, so i just watched it in the TV and as I see all those crowds then, i was crying and i dont know why, maybe because i, as a Filipino, feel so blessed that the POPE is with us that very moment, and i believe that the POPE is really the representative of the LORD. great feeling that i was here, WORLD YOUTH DAY 1995,fortunately given a chance that his mobile change the route & he passed in front of us waving, a very simple old man at first look but i dont know at that moment i felt like holy spirit is with me , i start to cry & just notice thats not only me, all the people was crying..no wonder he is pope of the people.

The documentation that you have will put the Philippines as the major inspiration for the church to flourish and admire.

i was there during that vigil night, was part of the 5choirs who sang on that stage. i could even see myself from 1:14 to 1:28, tall capped long hair hahah! the air was like blessed the moment the Pope stepped in. my choirmate mel abuyo was the one who handed the big candle to the Pope and he was so lucky the Pope embraced him for what seemed like hours. oooh, what a wonderful night indeed!

I can still remember this because I myself is one of the participants of World Youth day in 1995, nakakaiyak talaga kung nandun ka at isa ka sa mga nakibahagi na makita ang ating POPE JOHN PAUL II, I can't find any words to express my feelings about that day but to cry even if you don't know why the people around you is very emotional as if you saw GOD in his image.. all I can say is I'm very PROUD to see him in person joining him to praise God and Spread His LOVE to EVERYONE :=) We miss u!
