Ringo's childhood home on Madryn Street is set to be demolished along with the rest of the houses in the area. The fans have been fighting to keep his former home as a landmark, as many visitors see it every year. Unfortunately, the city sees no significance in keeping it since "he was not born there." That is a lame excuse. I hope somehow the home is kept. The other Beatles homes were spared. Liverpool - don't let Ringo down! Ringo cares about Liverpool, or he would not have written this song!
