Germanys LEADING EXPERT ON THE LISBON TREATY is Professor Schachtschneider of Nurenberg University :
Without an Irish No, all people in Europe face exploitation, war and injustice. The Irish have the opportunity to save human dignity in Europe. (Irish Times)
The German Constitutional Court has ruled that it wants exemptions from article 344 and the "self ratifying" Article 48. This coming from the biggest winners in Lisbon. they would have 17% of the vote as opposed to the 8% currently held by Germany. So if they see those articles as unconstitutional, how will we fair out with 0.8% of the Vote? C'mon, stop listening to the nonsence. Remember, this treaty is not about our EU membership. We ARE members of the EU and that will not change.
The EU is not Europe. Norway,Switzerland and Luxembourg are ALSO part of Europe,as is Iceland. Iceland is slowly coming out of recession thanks to having devalued its currency and keeping its fishing industry intact !
According to Brussels,Turkey is also part of Europe !
NO !
VOTE NO TO KEEP YOUR OWN CONSTITUTION ;CITIZENSHIP ;OWN LAWS & RIGHTS ;DECENT WAGES ;PUBLIC HEALTH & EDUCATION ;NEUTRALITY etc.
Tell everyone you know to watch the video, i guarantee you that 95% of the people will vote NO. Statistically, about 5% of the population is a sociopath or psychotic so they just gravitate towards eu beurocratic politics anyway.
Do you trust our leaders?
I'm voting NO like i did the first time. The eu parliament voted 533 against and 133 for respecting the Irish peoples democratic voice. Do you still trust them?
(1) Not all of the remaining 26 have lodged their ratification in Rome, they await our result still. (2) The EU wants public face of unanimity regarding this and are letting our own government coerce us. Let me be straight, on guarantees and the Treaty alone I would vote yes, but in good conscience I cannot because of how it is being done. I despair that some of the best debate I have received on this Treaty has been from yourself and others like you rather than our elected officials. Thank You
People should realise, even if they voted Yes the first time, that the Treaty itself isn't even the issue this time, it is the erosion of democracy by the very attempt to negate and ignore the will of a people by running a second referendum. And those who voted Yes should realise that if the government/EU had wanted a No result and the Yes vote had won, we would be in the same position right now, and I would be exhorting people to vote Yes. This one should be denial of governmental bullying.
How does it erode democracy to vote a second time? The government identified the issues: European Commissioner, abortion, taxation, neutrality, that were a source of concern for most No voters. These concerns have been addressed through legal guarantees and assurances. Those people who voted No in the previous referendum can feel secure in voting Yes on 2nd October and help get this country moving forward again.
It erodes democracy by showing us that our vote(whether you agreed with it or not) is not respected. Whether the politicians of the rest of EU were ever going to accept it is debatable/unlikely but our own government should have. And as I said above, if they had wanted the reverse outcome and we had defied them by voting Yes, we would be in the same situation. I don't like the loons on the No side and there are/were a lot but that doesn't mean they were on the WRONG side.
The vote was respected. The Lisbon Treaty is not in force is it? We're having another referendum because when the NO vote was analysed it was found that the reasons people voted No actually had nothing to do with the actual content of the treaty. People had legitimate fears about certain issues which had to be addressed but that had nothing to do with Lisbon. These fears have now been addressed through assurances and legal guarantees. Hopefully, some of these people will now decide to vote Yes.
irrelevant.. so by your logic they should really check out why people voted for Obama and have another election.. as he won by a smaller majority than the NO side. Respecting the vote would mean they would CHANGE the treaty, not give us the same treaty again.
in a democracy, the MAJORITY RULES
The Majority said NO.. We have no Guarantees in relation to Lisbon. The treaty remains the same. The only way the treaty can be challenged is in the European Court of Justice.. Did Cowan go there?NO
the fact is... were gettin more hits than any yes channel.. because as you say, people are educating themselves.. because people like you are not giving facts, you are giving opinionated suggestive nonscense.

Strange that this MEP, and member of the UK Independence Party, is still happy to take her seat in the European Parliament. Perhaps she believes that her voice in the EP will make a difference and help to improve the EU. That's exactly what the Lisbon Treaty is all about. Say Yes and we can keep working together for a shared future of peace, equality and justice for all EU citizens.
to my fellow irish men and women. vote NO. for over 800 years our ancestors where fighting and giving up there lives for our freedoms NOT to be signed away.. VOTE NO.
Decent,democratic,law-abiding people all over Europe are praying that the brave Irish vote NO again to this MADNESS !

Ireland PLEASE say NO again to the 2nd Lisbon PUTSCH attempt ! For yourselves, for your children and for the millions of us denied a say by a tiny un-elected "elite".
So they can just "get a loan" and write it off with no explanation !!! Hymm I wonder did they reduce the taxes of the people to reflect that .........NOT!

Today's Open Europe mentioned that the Swedish EU presidency plan an EU-WIDE BAN ON ALCHOHOL being sold in shops !
What's next, anything is possible..a ban on bacon,a ban on cycling without a helmet,a ban on smoking outdoors,a ban on blogging ?
Also mentioned was the un.elected commission's fear that they will lose credibility if talks with Turkey don't continue "unhindered".
Things are getting out of hand,we are NOT children and will not be dictated to by burocrats !
