We should have a good shot at the cup each year for the next 3-5 years. We also have the best GM: he'll keep us competitive. things are good in Vancouver (the most livable city in the world).

the finals was tough, but imo the bizarre way the games were called is a bigger problem then Lu.

@CheStillFighting The oddness of those Finals cant be explained eh. The whole bloody playoffs was a roller coaster. Nashville series gets thrown into the mix, that wasnt bizarre, maybe a little boring ? Im soundin like a huge Louu hater here, but in the end I just wan2 see the guy have success while carrying a little more of the weight, he's getting paid in order to do so. Oh ! but those softies he let in, those were hurting. I think he's the nervous type

@goinghard101 i'll probably sound crazy or bitter or something, but quite frankly, the only thing consistent in the officiating every series was boston not being called for remarkable plays. from the montreal series with ference headshotting halpern, to tampa bay with ryder headshotting jones, to vancouver with boychuck eliminating raymond - none of these were suspension worthy or even penalty worthy. it's all somehow clean.

@goinghard101 every single goalie lets in softies. honestly it happens. However, not every goalie can single-handedly win a game. Lu can do that! and he did!! we won TWO games against boston when we scored a single time. He robbed the sharks - game 5 anyone?
i think i know how you feel, i desperately want to win. but the thing is, our team is awesome even without a cup, and people that watch a team ONLY to see a cup win are called bandwagon fans. (not saying you are, i don't think you are.)

@goinghard101 additionally: we have 2 of the top-5 forwards in the league. another top-30 forward. A top-20 defenceman, perhaps the best team defence, and an olympic gold goalie. We should have a good shot at the cup each year for the next 3-5 years. We also have the best GM: he'll keep us competitive. things are good in Vancouver (the most livable city in the world).

@samtheman7975 Luongo makes acrobatic saves and plays for the best team. When thomas is on he is unbeatable, his team only needs one. Iv never seen Luongo in that kind of zone. Luongo is good he just doesn't have that level to raise to that Thomas does.

Vancouver - 44 penalties total
Boston - 52 penalties total
Look it up if you don't believe me. Vancouver lost fair and square, stop making excuses.

I am saying that the WHOLE playoffs (not just against Boston) the Canucks got Bsd in the penalty department. But to be honest i dont even care abot penalys, I care aboit how Rome got suspended 4 games for a hit that was at most interference. He had his head down. But babchuck or w/e can push raymond into the boards and break his back and not even get two minutes.

Funny how people rag on Luongo for not playing well in one series. Funny how people rag on Luongo for getting to the Finals, and not winning the cup. Funny how all these haters probably can't even skate, yet be signed a multi-million dollar deal with a team for being a goaltender.

Vancouver got to the Final as a team. And lost as a team. It wasn't Luongo's fault, or any one player. Thomas and the Bruins were just hungrier.
