@sa3dH4EvaR some cars do have a small cooling system but alot of them are just a solid block with 8 holes and room for the engine parts they run nitro methane which burns alot cooler then gasoline and the forward motion cools it of under the run back in the old days befor custom blocks they took factory block and filled them with plaster or concrete
@sa3dH4EvaR the life span of a full blown engine is hard to know but the bearings and piston rings were the things that would wear out like normal but those 392 hemi engines were a dime a dozen back then like a chevy 350 is today so f something broke they just went and found a new one so as as long as the crank block and heads dident crack pr explode they coule run the engine a long time but how long i have no idea some engines had cooling in the cylinder heads

but i dont think those engines can be used for long time ...like regular cars ...is that right ?
its gonna get hot any ways ,,if it stopes for long time isn't ?

to keep the heads cooled atleast sins the blocks were "solid" so IF the engine trew a rod they would bore the cylinder out and press in a new slew
