I have a number of games on DVD from his St.Helens season. His debut v Castleford, Lancs Cup Final v Wigan, both league games v Wigan, Lge game v Hull FC with Peter Sterling, Premiership Semi v Wigan & Premiership Final v Hull KR. I also have a match that he played in away to Oldham but I have to get it transferred from Betamax first...I'm also sure I have the Premiership 1st Rnd v Widnes too somewhere on Betamax as well !!!

How much did meninga weigh toward the end of his career? He looks pretty damn big compared to the rest of the guys. I'd say easily 100 kg. And he can run too!

@MARPSTE mal played around 108-112kgs for most of his career. when he came back from injury in 1987 he was around 118 kgs apparently

Mal scored some beauties - the 1982 Invincibles Tour v Hull KR he took the ball 60-70yds out and ran through a load of players hand-offs left and right to score in the corner he came back to haunt Hull KR when he played for St.Helens in 1985 with two interception tries, one where he outpaced both wingers. His 1st half one man destruction of Wigan in the Lancs Cup final in 1984 was awesome and the last second 2nd Test try at Old Trafford in 1990 was heartbreaking...a legend !

Saw him play when he played at St Helens the man was a legend one of if not the best I've seen. Pity you haven't included some of his Saints stuff like the Lancashire Cup final when he took wigan apart
