Anyone remember a radio interview he did many years ago (early '70's)with Anne Nightingale...He was a tough interviewee...Loved him then and still do...
Extraordinary interview, what an extraordinary guy. I saw him at the Rainbow in about 1971 and thought he had gone bonkers - thank goodness sanity regained.
Seen Roy quite a few times live over the years, love the sense of closeness and friendliness at his gigs. He's a great guy, and he's definitely still got it at 70......All the best Roy.
Thanks so much for posting this. Iplayer didn't keep it. He's not really live breakfast telly material is he! Love his old stuff to death!!! Seen him live a few times. Never likes to play his real old stuff, which is understandable, but I wish he would!!

I was watching a vid of Roy singing Me and my woman rec somewhere in Holland last year..I didn't know he was still performing, then I was talking to a friend about it and she said he was on telly this morning so I'm very pleased to have found this and thank you for posting. Always a pleasure to hear Roy and he can still sing, lovely stuff.

Still thinking like a hippy eh Roy? What an odd guest to have on this show, he was never mainstream.

Great to see the old boy being rolled out into the mainstream to give us a page of his thoughts.
Cracking stuff - I bet it certainly condused the normal audience at this time of day!

Great to see Roy on telly! Anyone who can start a song with the line "The kettle's on" and make it so beautiful has to be a genius!
