@RockUgud I'm Mexican and I can tell you that I have NEVER seen a dead body on the streets, the problem is U.S. which is the largest consumer of drugs in the world. The only parts of mexico that are not safe are those that are close to the U.S. but there are other wonderful cities like Cancun, Los Cabos, Acapulco, etc Mexico is a country full of wonderful people, delicious food, stunning architecture and a unique culture. and do not forget the newspapers and television exaggerate things

@mexicoelmejor1 I'm not basing it on the news. The media doesn't show ALL because they risk being killed. Try going to Michoacan and see if it's not hostile and dangerous. Everytime my family goes to visit my grandmother, they come back scared of all the crazy things they see. You suddenly hear gun shots and in minutes people are taking the dead bodies away and you can't ask or even mention anything or you'll be next. Michoacan is taken over by many cartels and they fight each other for power.
