I am using this on my E71. I have a dedicated Garmin unit but the maps are getting out dated. I am actually liking these maps so well that I was thinking about buying the 5230 just for the maps rather than buying a new GPS. It is awesome that you can download any maps you want to have right on your phone. Works great even without a data connection, but if you do have on, you can use it for searching for POI
ps. it seems that you are one of approximately 4 people in world that has the issue with the device as majority of users just love it (judging by opinion seen on various forums) - people can simply see the revolution that it brought by introducing first really mobile PC (that you can always have in your pocket)
@varquez7 you dont need a data plan - the maps are saved on your phone (you need to download them on your pc first) anyway - totally free - works amazingly on my e71
