Funny stuff:"It's....LIFE!" (I thought that was a FLOWER! Hehehe) After seeing the men and sexy women running away: "Who or WHAT were they?" "That pretty one looked really human!" (hahaha! They can't recognize humans! Interesting but a tad ignorant writing...5 stars anyway....
Thanks for this post, hadn't heard this one before i have another power records planet of the apes lp with "4 exciting new stories". they are great records.
Still have the record and played it for my son just a few weeks ago, but have no idea what happened to my book. I was thrilled to find this on line. Thanks for posting it. It brought back good memories. I noticed there wasn't any signals to indicate changing the page, did you edit them out?
I can't believe how much Taylor sounds like he's voiced by The Simpsons Troy McClure - weird, as he does that episode where he acts in the musical theatre version of POTA.
I still have my spiderman("mark of the man-wolf") and star trek("in vino veritas") "power records"(that particular star trek record didn't come with a book).
I'm surprised this video isn't a LOT more popular! My brothers and I collected almost all the Power Records there were. Thanks SO much for this video. I appreciate it very much. Please leave it up!
Thanks mstatz! All these vids were up previously on my old account which got deleted by YT - I am only posting read along movies to this account now so they should stay up permanently.
Thanks for your reply. "Planet of the apes" was my favorite of them all. I know I sound like a nerd but I have this entire record memorized. Even though it was 30 years ago, I listened to it so often then that I still remember it. I also remember "Beneath...Escape...and Battle...". Do you have those ones too? I got them all again from ebay about 6 years ago.
I haven't done any movies for a while and am thinking of doing Beneath for the next one so keep an eye out. In the meantime there is a webpage called - hunter's planet of the apes archive - that has all the audio and scans of the books.

glad you had fun - the audio is from an LP of several apes stories - no comic with the LP so no need for the signals.

Cool! It's more than 25 years since I heard or saw these. I can't believe I still know some of the words. This really put a smile on my face!
