I literally feel they're just taking the first thought that pops into their head and exaggerating the contents of it to make it an addition to rs. The players need their opinion put into the game. For one, perhaps they could make it with this new jad update so that players could only get the new cape and onyx once a month since the fury price is going to drop to an all time low. There's several other updates necessary that jagex just doesn't understand needs to be done.
Is there or is there not going to be a new skill, because honestly Dungeoneering was way more harder than I expected, not that it's boring.. But it's frustrating to die in the game which usually only happens with me when I'm lagging. Also, with all these graphical improvements, wouldn't that mean that we are going to lagg more often? I don't mean to complain, I still love RuneScape I just hate the lagg. :(

Runescape? No! Ruinedscape. I'm sorry jagex and I know one kid saying this won't change your mind but the game I used to love is now ruined. I liked the old days where everyone was friends, the tutorial island, older graphics, armor and weapons. I remember 2-3 years ago 140000 players would be on. Now it's only 85000-90000. That is a huge drop! Clean up your ways before you lose mire people. Bringing back old runescape will be your best move. Please from everyone who misses the good old days!!!
I've been playing RuneScape since summer 2007 and i love the graphical updates. Makes the game play feel much better. I had an idea that i had on the forums which was making grapes something we can grow and farm. Many people have suggested this as well as leaving messages to your friends who are currently offline, pretty much in game email. I also have another idea of taking Metallurgy and putting it into the game. Case hardening, annealing armore to make them stronger or weaker

Jagex, I came up with a great idea. You need a system where people can voice there opinions about updates. The real RuneScape is better than any private server out there. Private servers take all the fun away from playing, like working hard to level up, earn money, and other stuff. And all the people who can't handle working hard search for HACKS on Youtube. RuneScape is now RuinedScape. The old armour was perfectly fine. The old graphics were perfectly fine. Just a couple days ago was the 1 year anniversary of the wild and free trade and the game is ruined. 2:39 don't tell me "THATS" the new dragon armor. Plate = awsome but needs more spikes, Legs = Awsome needs more spikes. Boots and Gauntlets = needs more spikes. Helm = Tbh that makes it look like "DEVIL" armor instead of Dragon Armor. if you were to make dragon armor, needs more spikes and a Dragon like theme. I was thinking of the old helmet style but it'll look like a dragon has it's mouth over it, and there would be a space (like in the old) where the eyes would be looking through.
I have been trying to get back into Runescape for a while now. Like CCFCnath2009, I miss the old RS before the GE and even before 99 capes. I loved the old graphics and people trying to sell things in Seers. It's difficult to adapt to these new graphics and the new players, but who knows? Maybe these updates are better for the game. I have been playing since 2004 and for those like me, we can either adapt or move on. RS is not going to go back to what it once was so if anything we have memories.

Runescape is such a great IP. I wish they made a branched offline RPG, with 2012 level graphics. It'd be amazing to see the Runescape world etched out in a high definition, DirectX 11 environment. I know it'll never happen, but I think people would just love it.
First too all the people disagreeing with the updates I am with you I've been playing since 06 and liked the game back then. When Free trade and Wildy went away I did as well but when it came back I started to play again. The game changed a lot during that time. Now I play again and we all have to live with the updates :(. As for updates the dragon kiteshield and dragon crossbow are coming as said by a mod forgot which one. Also on rs wiki.
Its too bad you can't ride your pets or familiars.. i'd like to ride a dragon, pack yak, anything that COULD be rideable. And the dragons being bigger when you fight them. In the game now, you're pretty much as big as they are which isn't that realistic. They've changed that with some trees and other items which is nice, but they need to do it to the dragons too. Have the baby dragons as big as us, then the bigger dragons be.. bigger.

please, jagex.. i would be fine with barrows updated but please don't change how it looks, i mean, look up that one famous art of the barrows brothers it looks great and detailed and you can obviously tell who each and everyone is. Also, I guess i have to admit that the bronze doesn't look to bad... but why gold?

err... how come the new barrows armor have no legs? they're protected by nothing but greives.. which are technically boots. Also, Verac and Karil no longer have skirts? I'm not sure if I'm fond of that..

The new equipment looks epic. ;) What I'd like to see is being able to play as multiple different races. I know you'd have to change some quests, but wearing Squirrel Ears to Role-Play as an Elf is just a bit ridiculous.
