Why is this only a bonus track? I hadn't even heard it until today and TDOG is one of my all-time favourite albums! This song is definitely good enough to be a regular track on the album. Maybe the verses aren't so nice, but the chorus and intro are so damn catchy!

@imcominforyou I think it's because japanese love real Power Metal, the one with fast drum and progressive solos.. there are less european loving True Power now.. I mean songs like Victoria's secret, san sebastian, the cage, my selene, blank file.. In fact their last albums (unia, the days of grays) have another style, even though Flag in the ground is "Old S.A.-like"

@personelcomputer I love old Sonata Arctica and new Sonata Arctica. Tony writes and composes all of the music for the band, and he says he doesn't enjoy writing fast music anymore. I think the great thing about SA is that their music is crafted with love, and I wouldn't want to see them forcing themselves to play a style they don't enjoy anymore. My favourites are: Last Drop Falls, The Dead Skin, Juliet, Unopened, Victoria's Secret, Respect The Wilderness & White Peal Black Oceans. :-)

I love the way Tony Kakko writes the songs, and if they change their style, there's no matter, I know with Tony as composer, the songs will be good ^^ I'm just sad to see that when I buy an album, I don't have all the songs Tony wrote for it. And actually, I don't understand why... Does it cost more to put three more songs on an album ?

@personelcomputer I've heard that the bonus songs exist because CDs are really expensive in Japan, so they need the 2-3 extra songs as a temptation to buy the CD! :D And the songs are usually those which don't fit to the original songlist for some reason.

Is he talking about an animal? Most likely a dog or a wolf, and the giant is the man who it lives with or something like that. He talks about the way the animals seems to read our minds and obey, like they respect something about us. But then he say that the animal is not a child and talk about their instincts and nature, wich can't be tamed by the humans. The howling part kind of give it away, i guess... (sorry about any spelling mistakes, I'm brazilian and not that good with english xD)

I don't say the albums were bad, au contraire, they are really awesomely brilliant. However it is nice to hear SA make a song like these 2 every now and then again. I missed this sound :)

I think the words "Bonus Track" means "One of the best songs on the album". I've seen bands do the bonus tracks alot and usually they are really good songs.
