  • When he was writing the hangul for "ba" he sounded like a sheep bomb.....

tick, tick, tick, tic, tick, tick BA! XD

  • Eu adorei o modo como você ensina, muito obrigada!

  • @gx5akira that is wonderful

  • learn korean language and join my channel

  • thanks you so much!!! this helped a lot!!! keep it up!! you're a great teacher!

  • Him: ma

    Me: ma

x10 = me laughing hysterically. Anyway does da have a ta sound?

  • @matapia111 yes it doea and dnt forget that ba has a pa sound to it also

  • @matapia111 no it's still da. but it has a slight puff sounds that is similar to a Ta.

if you want to practice, try saying ta softer and softer until you can barely hear the first T part

  • Thank you so much...

    I learned it ^^

Ga Na Da Ra ma Ba Sa A

    You are a good teacher ^ ^

  • me encanto..... estare practicando todo el dia ...thank you

  • i had problem with the way korean characters , files and documents were showing , i discovered that opening the text file or document with the browser solved the problem, specifically there was an option that allowed me to display pages character coding using: Unicode (UTF-8) that made weird looking characters into perfect - original like - korean text. perhaps there are options like this in most web-browsers ppl use - usually on the View menu.

    Unicode (UTF-8)

  • LOL i was kinda focusing then just couldnt help it when he said "there's no foundation...i just made it up" with a pretty confident voice :))

  • Does any one have some advice for a hopeless American who can not make a sound between an "r" and a "l"? They are such different sounds, I can't figure out how to make my tongue do something in between. I am also struggling with the ta/da sound and the ba/pa sound, not to mention the confusing ka/ga sound. Thank goodness for ma and na, at least I can say those two. I would be grateful for any advice! Thank you!

  • @Zephyrca1 well if you know spanish the Korean l/r sound is exactly the same as the spanish r (not double rolled r ) sound. hope that helps

  • @tokee1234567 It might help -- I've studied French, Italian, German and Russian, but haven't gotten around to Spanish yet. I do know several Spanish speakers, however, so I can beg for help from one of them. Korean is my first attempt to learn an Asian language. Thank you!

  • @Zephyrca1 it's not exactly the same but I'm sure it will help you! I'm Korean and I'm learning French and Spanish and I have almost no problem pronouncing spanish except or the double rolled (trilled) r sound

  • omg lol at 2:05...

    Him: ra.

    Me: ra.

    Him: Ra.

    Me: Ra.

    Him: Ra.

    Me: Ra!

    Him: RA!

    Me: RRRRAAAAAAA-*bursts out laughing*

  • thank you for this video. I'm self studying Korean and this is a really great help! Thank you very much!

  • This video is amazing, and very helpful.

  • Sweetandtasty ppl!

  • good

  • ONE QUESTION that I really want to ask since a was a child,,, WHY DID THE WORLD HAD DIFFERENT LANGUAGE i mean why didnt we unite with only one language

  • @fameofvideo Maybe it's because the "different" is more beautiful

  • @fameofvideo I see what you mean. I wondered the same thing myself too. But languages are a huge part of culture. It makes us who we are. So changing that and speaking only one language would eventually affect on diversity. That would be boring. If everyone would speak English we would not have beautiful French or exotic Chinese, product of human intelligence/creativity. I like the way we have it now. We can use English in order to communicate but we still have our own mothertongue.

  • @fameofvideo

Well, if all languages are united, translators are going to lose their jobs.

  • @fameofvideo makes the world more unique and interesting.

  • st one is GA(KA) na da canada!

  • are these consonants NOTE: im a BIGGIINER AT THIS (KOREAN ALPH.) HELP

  • @VargasAriiana watch the video. it explains it for you

  • im learning to read write and speak korean at once is this smart to door willi end up confuse?

  • i found the R really easy since i can speak some japanese :)

looks like japanese and korean use the same sound

  • For the first letter, the sound can be either 'g' or 'k' or in between?

  • rarararalalala... my tounge .... the sa and r/la is confusing because the consonant for r/l looks like s

  • i think im back in kindergarten

  • @minersss my friend said that how you have to see it when learning korean

  • thank you so much this helped a lot :D

  • 8:57 blah blah blah blah blahblahblahblah heehee to fast but this help much thanks so much

  • best teacher ever

  • Hahaha I really love this guy!

  • Ma and Pa. ^ ^

  • WOW cool i think I'm getting it. Except for the RA part. >.<

  • Ummm so Ba is pronounced as Pa?? LOL I'm new. :DD

  • @ALO5O1 It's confusing for me as well. Basically Ba is pronounced somewhere in between a b and p. It was best explained to me as a very soft 'b' and more of a flow into the 'ah'. I also think it can go either way depending on the word, he uses it intermittently but I usually get corrected with the 'soft b sound' explanation rather than 'p'.

..Dunno if that was actually helpful, my apologies! ^_^

  • @apsutiamota like when yyou say oppa

  • i like this! thx

  • I love how you go like "Okay?" after saying something : D makes me feel like I'm with a real personal teacher.

  • thank you so much for this..

but i think i offended someone by saying HI in korean

cause it was halloween then i was a korean boy trick or treating then we passed by his house to get our treats then i said hi to his dad by saying annyeonghaseyo then he asked me if i was korean then i said no i'm sorry..then you can see in his eyes that he's offended since then i swore that i'm never gonna do that again..

  • Are you rolling the R like in spanish?

  • Thank You =)

  • This is the kind of lesson that I've been looking for. It is very organized and clear and easy to learn. It's not complicated at all. For a beginner like me, I was able to follow and understand clearly the lesson. Perfect. Thanks a lot for this video.

    Keep it up. More Power...

I totally agree that korean is difficult to read~ So many letters!

But at least I know chinese so i'll be easier right? :D

  • I want to learn korean, but in my country it's not an easy thing to do. In Poland, if you want to learn, you have to do it all by yourself. So when i found your account, here on YouTube, i was was very happy. It's almost like having a real teacher! For giving me this opportunity...i'm extremely thankfull :))

  • I'm Mexican too, but I find Korean very easy to pronounce and very easy to read :o Maybe because I've practiced for 2 years..? Lol.

  • Thank you so much for your hardwork !!I really like all the video you have uploaded i think it is very useful to me :) you are really a patience teacher !!

  • Thanks! This helps a lot. After Im done with Korean. My next goal is French and then Spanish. Got a long way to go..

  • Just a question - I'm searching for a video that shows how to write each letter in the right way - I see you're writing each one of them. Are you doing it the way it is supposed to be done or?

  • You're a good teacher. And you have so many lessons that I think if I finish watching em all, i'll probably have learned Korean, thanks :)

  • it is soooooo easy to a comparision with Japanese alphabet ~ I think i will learn Korean as well... i already kind of can understand Japanese a bit, so now it is time to start with Korean!

  • This is very helpful. I'm learning some words from the tv series, now that I found your channel, I think I will learn from it too. Thank you so much.

  • great video haha

  • so cool

  • easier than chinese! :)

  • Ga Na Da Ra Ma Ba Sa A.. :D

  • @akashiya95 Jajajaja Yo soy Mexicana tabien!!!! :D I also know Spanish fluently and I also know some French!!!!! I'm leanring Korean and Japanese right now lol I also noticed 94, 95, and now 96!!! Weird lol yo creo que es mas fácil ablar coreano quando ablas español.... But idk that's just me... Wow Spanglish XD And now Korean -- ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

  • @theavla96 aww eres mexicana!! jajaja :P estudias el coreano? ahora jaja yo si U_U xD que tal? xD

  • Ka-Na-DA

  • This was very helpful, thank you so much.

  • do you have a korean accent? I have never heard one before. Sounds kind of arabic. In a good way.

  • @sugey94

    Eeyyy!!! So mexicano también wey!!!!!!

Woot Woot! Jajaja. Yo quiero saber Frances también!!!! Ahorita estoy perdiendo JAPONÉS :D es fácil y me fije que Coreano(Sur) es mas fácil que Japonés y chino. El norte usan chino Dx Lol. Oh si tienes tiempo, can u teach me French!!!! :3 I would gladly appreciate it!!!! :D

  • @TheElaisrocks I agree with you! I'm Mexican too, I speak french, english, and spanish, but it's hard to pronounce korean. When you go slowly it's easy, but not quickly. That's interesting :)

  • I love this! Especially how you show like font/computer text-type character and then how it looks in like handwriting and how you pronounce them so many times for us slow people... x_x; This is definitely the most helpful video I've seen.

  • It's easy with u learn korean alphabet, I'm mexican and this really help me! thanks

  • This is so helpful! I'm tired of having to look up romanized lyrics for Korean Pop songs that a lot of times don't sound like the singer singing it. Thank you!

  • first 3 letters...ka na da...canada...? XD

  • @prussiastillexists Just like in Mandarin. "Jia Na Da" = Canada. XD

  • gamsahamnida...i really learn alot ..^^ but i have a question..is it La & Ra r the same when it written in hangul alphabet..?

  • This was actually pretty fun, ahaha ^^

  • you started to sound like you were bored 4 minutes into the video... but anyways good vid thax for uploading

    :)

  • the pronunciation is so hard im mexican and i also speak japanese, korean is easy to write but hard to read :S

  • @TheElaisrocks Really? Somehow I have always thought that Spanish and Korean sound closer to each other than English but I guess I was wrong.^__^

  • @BusyAtomdotcom they do sound closer than english, alot of the vowels and cosonants are easy to pronounce, but in my opinion japanese is a bit easier to try and pronounce.

  • @munky3691 yes it's because Japanese letters always have the consonant+vowel paired sound and they don't have a lot of ending consonant sounds. Korean has a lot of ending consonant sounds so it's easier for Koreans to pronounce Japanese and not the other way around

  • @BusyAtomdotcom has some French sounds also, I reckon

  • @BusyAtomdotcom spanish and arabic are very similiar with the way sentences are written and the words themselves =P oh, and thank you for your amazing and helpful videos =]

  • @BusyAtomdotcom I think it is easier because I know spanish.

  • @BusyAtomdotcom you´re not wrong at all, we use consonants and vowels too ,but in korean i don´t know how to explain it they match 2 consonants like kiyok in some other videos that i saw they say that is pronounced like k+g and then the vowel or on the other hand im the one whos wrong :P hehe

  • @TheElaisrocks eh i thought its easier to read than write korean :P

  • @TheElaisrocks do you really speak japanese? i'm learnig would you help me practice? i'd appreciate it i'm mexican too by the way so i speak spanish

  • @TheElaisrocks weird. I'm Korean trying to learn Spanish. except for the rr I can pronounce most Spanish words without pronounciation difficulty... I guess it's because like Japanese, Spanish doesn't have complex consonant sounds like Korean does.

  • @tokee1234567 that´s right hehe it was the complex consonants but i´ve beeb studing so is easier now :), and is great that you study spanish haha suerte con la doble R se que es dificil para muchos pero con esfuerzo y dedicacion todo es posible :D

  • @TheElaisrocks no estoy seguro que puedo pronunciar la doble R... :( my mom can do it though. So I can feel the pain of people who are finding Korean difficult to pronounce.

  • @tokee1234567 Hahahaha :D just practice and if you like spanish it would be easy suerte !!! :D

  • @TheElaisrocks You can speak Spanish, Japanese, ( and obviously English) and you're also learning KOREAN? Dammnn, aren't you cool . :P But I bet it wasn't easy. I'm struggling on Korean. :/

  • @SmashinSexy Hahaha thanks and yes it WASN´T easy hehe :)

  • @TheElaisrocks I'm Mexican too!!! :DD

  • @MeliCantera Hahaha great :) wait a sec let´s speak spanish hehehe genial hehe que tambie aprendes coreano hehe ojala se propage mas el idioma en mexico hehe :)

  • omg...korean doramas and music made so many people to learn their language...and me too... but i am afraid that it will be difficult for me.))

  • kamsahamnida :)

i'm chinese, and i think that learning korean is easier than learning chinese.

in chinese you have to memorize the word/character, and in korean theres the alphabet c:

KPOP INSPIRED ME TO LEARN KOREAN :D

  • kamsahamnida! im also learning mandarin. korean is way easier! great tutorial!
