I'm from Montreal Canada and I started IP last week( January 17th 2012), so for my first week i lost 6 pounds. My starting weight is 199.1 pounds. Now I'm at 193.8 pounds and my objective is 145 . I'm very surprise, because this diet doesn't tempt me to cheat. I'm so happy!!!
@janinsita AWESOME!! I actually have to remind people to not skip their meals on this program. Don't skip any meals because the protein protects our engine (lean mass) which is what is burning the calories! It's so awesome! :)

@monyvalesti OH, no no no! In fact, there is some fierce competition for January with the coaches at Bothell Chiropractic and I'm gonna KICK BUTT!! There's a slight disadvantage for me as I'm currently in Ketosis already and there are atleast 3 people that will go into Ketosis which means that they will have 3-5lbs of Glycogen for the first week that's not part of true weight loss.... but I will still KICK ALL THEIR BUTTS!! $700 in the pot for this competition.

Recent Update!! Celery and Cucumbers are now part of the "unlimited" veggies for both men and women. You can eat as much of them as you would like throughout the day. WOO HOO!!! I love cucumbers and celery!! :D
This is inspiring! I'm in week one (day five exactly) and am feeling sluggish and tired, with a headache that won't quit! I need to keep watching your videos for inspiration. Thanks!
@tingilya Don't give in.. once you're in Ketosis it's easy going. Drink LOTS of water! Your body is reconfiguring and water is important. Keep carbs out of your system and the craving for them goes away. The mental habit is a different issue... lol I remember opening the fridge every other hour looking inside, even though I wasn't hungry.
@EnlightenWithZarah Thank you for the encouragement, but I wasn't able to continue. I started a severe migraine that ended up with a doctor's visit, where it was determined that I have a severe allergy/migraine trigger when I ingest artificial sweeteners. I have to police everything I eat and drink and avoid any trace of them. All IP products (even the savory things, it turns out) have artificial sweeteners. Bummer!
@tingilya As far as I know, determining allergies takes A LOT of testing and takes weeks and days, especially knowing that migraine is one of the symptoms of carb depletion and withdrawal from the body.
@EnlightenWithZarah Allergy probably isn't the right word. It's well-known that artificial sweeteners trigger migraines. I can have one packet of Splenda in tea, or one stick of sugar-free gum, and I'm down for the count. My neurologist told me to avoid artificial sweeteners, just like some migraine sufferers have to avoid wine or hard cheeses. My health is not worth risking for a diet!
@tingilya Oh how funny. The program is specifically designed to help people get to better health. So, I'm guessing you did know before joining that you had this issue. This program isn't for everyone.
@tingilya I happened to have my Cheese Omelet and Plain Omelet boxes and they didn't list a sweetener, nor did the Blue Berry Pudding.. but I mean, I'm not surprised they have artificial sweeteners at all. The whole point is avoiding carbs. How unfortunate you didn't know about your food allergies before you joined.
@EnlightenWithZarah OH wait, BB pudding has sweetener. Splenda, sucralose is what IP uses. I think if Sweetleaf Stevia were approved for manufactured foods in America, that's what IP would be using. There are regulations to consider. Stevia the only one I know of that is natural and (Sweetleaf brand) is not chemically treated. Ideal Protein is awesome and puts health first which is why it's in doctor's offices and a health profile is needed before starting the program.
@cybermetalsonic :) I know, right? It's amazing and easy. I learned that Ketosis is actually a natural process that our bodies went though and evolved doing for thousands of years for survival. Totally natural process and not harmful. It really is working with your body instead of against it.

@EnlightenWithZarah They're sweetened with Splenda. And yes, I knew about my SENSITIVITY before trying it, but I didn't know it was so severe.
