  • that's so cool. is the a recipe in terms of the amount of clay, compost, seeds, etc.? or show grab and put them together?

    would love to teach that activity during this season.

  • Just go for it!

    You can get clay trimmings from local potters in you area and them crush them up in a bucket and or sift them through a screen.

    Our local hardware store gave us all of the previous seasons seed packets. Also, local farmers gave us bags of their cover crop seeds.

    The kids were asked to research different guilds or companion plants and then made unique seed mixtures.

    Try different ratios of clay, soil and seeds.

    The real yield was engaging the kids.
