Jim, what a wonderful heritage you have. I love this song. I look forward to meeting your dad in heaven - and you too! I was blessed with a godly father too. He died when I was 29, in 1985, but his influence will linger for all my days. Thanks for posting this video.

Thanks Linda, He started singing when he was 4 and sang for the rest of his life. His dad wanted him to be a preacher, but he said "Paul, if you're going to sing, don't sing foolishness, sing the Gospel." And that was all Dad ever did, sing about Jesus.

When I was studying in the Nazarene Bible College in Cebu City, Philippines, I always sing this song whenever I face hardships (i was a working student). Yeah, I always tell myself that "i know who holds tomorrow and I know who holds my hand". I graduated from the Bible SChool despite the hardships.
