i guess i could have portaled to the button a little faster but i was being lazy

i did the energy ball thing differently. i just put the cube on the upside down button, stood under it, when the ball got into the chamber, i stepped off, trapping the ball and ran to the far button.

nice lateral thinking on this puzzle, but i think it's faster what i've used
