  • 「運命の果実を一緒に食べよう」

  • Hachi is my god.

  • Wow. I never knew Hachi was also so artistically gifted at drawing. The little details are beautiful! Not only is his music inspiring, but his artwork too. ;u;

  • A world of white is not necessarily something to be sad about.

    It could just be the very beginnings of a large beautiful picture.

    It has so much possibility.

  • This kinda reminds me of Toeto for some reason:P

  • In a wolrd full of snow?

    sounds like clannad

  • Hachi has inspired me so much ;u;

    That's why most of my artwork has fancy little details XD

    Ilovethissongsofrikkingmuchseriouslyomg

  • But if there is only white, then how does Miku know what color is? What anything is? What she is?

  • Is it bad that I cry when I hear this song...?

  • :D Don't watch this at 2 am, when it's dark, you might get scared. D:

  • I was doing some reading on the word qualia, which basically refers to mental subjective. For example, when you hear the line, "a paper airplane the color of the sky," a little blue airplane flies by. While the sky being blue is a mental connection that most people make, the sky isn't always blue; dusk is a completely different color than dawn, noon, twilight, et cetera. Qualia is where one person will automatically think of a blue sky, and another will think of a red sky, like that at sunset.

  • @pixelheroine "She questions if she can truly be the judge of what colors are 'right,'" from your analysis, hits the nail on the head. That is why she cries out for help in the instrumental piece, and is also why Adam is introduced; because of qualia, everyone sees things differently, and without that perspective, we as humans cannot learn. Essentially, "The color of my eyes could only be told by another, but I'm the only one..."

  • Gosh I am IN LOVE with this style of art, the story-telling lyrics, the whole story behind this song, HACHI YOU REALLY ARE MY FAVORITE COMPOSER EVER!! ; A ;

  • @yoobunny IKR?! And since his name means eight in Japanese, eight is now my official favorite number! ^___^

  • what kind of art is this :O

  • damn i love this pv ;w;

    and OMG this is a really good song~ ;/////;

  • i like how he gives priority to saying there are no dinner menus.

  • I think in a more deep way, she's just a lonely girl (4:00) that get to know/get close to a person, and therefore finds love or even, just happiness (5:04), which would be the colors

    but that's just how I see it

  • This reminds me of painting, or coloring a picture

    Like, a really expressive way of explaining what it's like just staring either one.

  • 0;09 NO DINNER MENUS!!! WHAT WILL WE DOOOOOOOO!?!?!?!?! Lol :D

  • Omg this was all animated on paper (I think) that is a amazing

  • man this is such a great song with amazing art I love everything about it....I think the song kinda has a good reflection of what the world really is like and how everyone feels lonely....LUV IT :'D

  • Technically, if there's nothing there but her, there wouldn't be oxygen for her to breathe, right? 1:10

  • @CelestialBlueFire13 maybe...maybe not...she is just an uncolored drawing in a white world.

    WOAH DID I JUST GET POETIC??!

  • Miku reminds me so much of the Earth personified, with her hair and face and the stuff on her poncho . . . it's so pretty . . . .

  • ... This is probably one of the prettiest songs I've ever heard.

  • This is so beautiful, thank you for sharing and translating it. I'm in love with it. *_*

  • Hachi's songs always seem to have such deep and complicated meanings, but then actually don't (eg. Clock Lock Works being about musical chairs) This song kinda seems to me like she's a drawing on a piece of paper that wants more details and colours added. o3o

  • ....Remind me not to draw just only one uncolored tiny girl on a giant blank sheet of paper... :(

  • .........Oh goodness I love you. THank you for translating this!!

  • Interesting song. And an interesting story of a man, woman and an apple. xD

  • hachi has such amazing art. did he make this song as well of does he just draw for vocaloid videos?

  • He does everything from the art to the music. ;D

  • well he sure is talented isnt he xD

  • @corntate He makes the songs too.

  • 世界観を崩さずに訳されてるといいね♪

  • The music and art style of the vid reminded me of persona alice, wich i loved, but this one..with the story and all...its very, very nice, i love this kind of 'weird' art and different story.

  • It should remind you of Persona Alice, they're made by the same person~ XD

  • wow! i am in love whit this kind of art~ do u know if hachi has a art-place page? like DA?

    and thx so much for traslating another song ^^ awesome work

  • He has a Pixiv account (member 259546), but right now, it only has pictures he used in this video. And I'm not sure if he actually does any art other than for Miku songs, so that might be the only kind of thing that gets posted there.
