@tylerjoseph0o LOTRO starts getting repetetive and then it becomes boring. But thats just my opinion. GW2 has everything that makes you want to keep a game.
@EarendurTelemnar Lol LOTRO runs on just a little outdated graphics. Check out GW2 graphics - simply gorgeous. I'm not much of a debator but still GW2 and SWTOR will rule.

"well thats cause you run like headless chicken and let whole troll army come after me!"... guardians can draw threat from mobs so why they dont do that... and even healers threat remove skills doesnt always help when you have 10 mobs after you.... thanks alot for uploading this video here. healers rules!!
@91DareDevil91 this is explained on a forum post haha they draw a ton load of threat when healers heal but some skills of a gaurdian until u get Engage don't last very long then they go back to pounding on the healers and hunters as they draw a lot of aggro as well
The thing that sucks in LOTRO is that minstrels are irresistible to the enemy. One teensy weensy little heal and somehow I manage to aggro the entire battlefield! I can just see this play out in real life.
Graul: "Hey did this guy just get healed?"
Rauk: "Um, ya. Wtf!?"
Graul: "Let us forget about these three guys pounding me with their sharp metal weapons. Let's get that little $&*@! that is healing!!"
My main is a Hunter and I have a Champ and a Minnie alt...both are enjoyable in their own way, but the Minnie is definitely the most frustrating class that I've played...I guess an RK would be equally frustrating if you trait healer...My hat goes off to every healer in any MMO...hardcore or casual...your task isn't easy

We minstrils have to have a lot of telerance considering we get all the agro, we have to save peoples asses with so much as a thank you, and we get blamed if someone dies.
I'm new as well! but i have learned a answer to one of your questions. They can wear light armor and with a warrior-skald attribute they can wear medium. I know they can at very least use mace, knife, and sword and at a later lvl shield, if they can use more i havent learned them yet.

Rule N1 - Protect the minstrels, a dead minstrel = a dead fellowship/raid.
Though being a minstrel is incredibly hard, they are fun. I had a lvl 40 champion as my main but after playing a minstrel, I'm switching mains! We are minstrels, taking one for the team since 2007. :P

ummm no they arent a solo class..you get hit 5 times from a mob which is 3 lvl bigger then you,you already lost half of your morale...most of the minstrels dont evan know how to heal...they only do dmg and if you dont shout your lungs out at them for a heal..you die under their nose...hapened to me 5 times
lol fricken idiot, minstrels have so many good skills they can own guys solo and heal themselves at the same time they beat any other class. plus what other class have a level 50 skill that can make people dance against there own will?

What they said about the armor. The can use Dagger, Sword, Mace, Club, Shield.
Most good minstrels use a mace, but i dont think the weapon type even matters for minstrel as long as the legacies are good on your weapon.

Get your team a good lore master, by good i mean one with 2k morale and 4k power. plenty of power to go around then.
