  • Written by Wayne Shanklin, who also wrote "The Big Hurt," "Primrose Lane," "The Dream," and others. How do I know? Simple.  When I was a performer, he wrote, produced and arranged three songs for me to record. Wayne, passed away, as did his son J.R. J.R., was also involved in those productions.

  • A beautiful voice, and the way he gave his soul in every song. Wonderful!

  • He was one of the best performers of all time. I never truly enjoyed his music when I was growing up, but now I am in my early 60's and this is what singing is all about. RIP Frankie. Thanks for all the great music you left behind for us to enjoy
