Oh and the turbo setup i cant remember, but it was a big 16g turbo with 650cc deschwerks injectors and an aem fic piggyback. Update, any tc on 10psi turbod with stock internals will not make 290whp, my dyno run sheet was confimed by another shop it was a high reading dyno, i was pushing maybe 250hp and tq. But sadly i wrecked that bitch around the outside of tight corner at 120 =( But its cool, i got a 02 subaru wrx now, just put my stage 2 tune on pulling 17psi.
also if its supercharged it 9.5 pounds anything over that he needs bigger injectors and a piggyback with a new tune but hopefully i can turbo mine real soon

Every time i see one on the street i pull up next to them and they roll up their windows... I havent even meet one out there that is even a challange. They have to boost thier cars to make them fast because even with full bolts they cant touch stock Si's
Its pretty fast with turbo but yeah every tc ive raced when i just had intake and they had i/h/e i pulled bad on them. they just arent quite in the si class is all, its like a stock vette against a mustang gt...mustang is fast..in its class just not against a vette...
Is just funny how tc's show again and again how slow they are.. Pushing 10 pounds and the si still kept up.. On the last run the SI shifted real bad at the end he would have pull easy on the TC. TC's are girl car they should not tuned for racin they are garbage.
@fg2kid Still, 255whp is really awful for 10 psi on a tC. I know someone who just got a custom turbo kit on his '08 tc and it made 259whp on 6.25 lbs with FMIC, injectors, intake and no exhaust.
@fg2kid That must be a Supercharged tC on 10lbs. Not a turbo one. Turbo tC at 10lbs would be pushing around 280-310whp and would leave that SI like he was standing still. The Supercharger is no longer in production cause frankly....it sucked and no one bought it and was turbocharging instead.
I saw the turbo, and the dyno. 255 whp its a bolt on turbo and tuned by a local shop. a scion tc with i/h/e still is like 20hp lower than the si stock. I have custom headers and exhaust with profesional tune.
Good racing but, you should have shut the window before the race, not after. You can hear the car more + your more aerodynamic vs having it open. You still probably would have lost but, it would have been even closer than it already was. Not trying to be a dick or anything, sorry if it seems that way. Thanks for the video man. Later
@08k20 If you think that you really raced a properly turbo tC on 10lbs...you are sadly mistaken. Check out the cars I've walked on with less boost (7-8)lbs and compare how hard I pulled on those cars with less boost. This tC (if it is indeed turboed and not supercharged), is not performing right. 255whp is more like 6lbs of boost, not 10. At 10, tC's put down 280-310whp.
@rhythmnsmoke yes it was slow and that tune was fucked up. after i got a free retune i was pushing 290hp and 292tq on 10psi sometimes overboosting 11or12
10psi on what a S/C, cause that's not 10psi on a turbo. If he is turboed and said it was pushing 10lbs, then one of two things are true....It's not on 10lbs or it's untuned. Cause 10lbs would have left you a like you were sitting still.
i agree my buddys tc the one on the videos posted by chopstix1861 beat an si just using bolt ons and ive seen boosted tc's...its prob a shitty trd s/c in this vid at like 5 psi

Such a slow shift into 4th, god damn it kills me every time. TC on 10psi is obviously the faster car either way though

Good racing but, you should have shut the window before the race, not after. You can hear the car more + your more aerodynamic vs having it open.
