whats the difference between free running and parkour?

Parkour is getting from A to B in the most efficient way possible. Freerunning is a more general term for doing vaults and flips generally in an urban environment.

So if I just do a back tuck off a wall, that's freerunning not Parkour.

in a simple way of speaking, free-running is ment for flips (acrobatics),especially style movements, while pk means passing any obstacle in your way with ur body. this guy does pk great, but nothing like free-run is here in this video. if you wanna see a really good vid about freeruning search on this site Special Family belgium Speeders. there is one video over there that destroyes the limits of human body. you really should see it.
