The rod and reel I used for the Carp was an Avoccet $40 combo from Wallmart. It's not the greatest of rods by any means, but you can't go too wrong with the price!!!
@matone1982 Oh, and what ponds do you fish at at the Pond Mills?? Had a look on google and there seems to be a few down there. The westmisnter ones any good??
@TheKaptainKrunch When I am fishing from shore, I cast into the lillies, along visible drop offs, under trees and I let soft plastics sink to the bottom as far as I can cast. We should head out some time!!! We will get em!

dude try using poppers they work soo good i just finish't Catching a monster pike and a ton of bass but ya j.s it works everywhere :D oh and i love ur vids keep on posting them

i found the bass lure on ebay look up BLAZE NATURAL IMAGE LURE - LARGEMOUTH BASS - 35ZR good price on them too i ordered four of them
