This is nothin like it was in the 80s.
The best racing in Philly was 82~86.
Any given fri sat or sunday night. Racing in front of Oscar Meyer on Front St was HOT. Then the cops would open the hydrants and flood the street.
Then 100s of cars would cruise to del ave then get chased to llth st at the old JFK stadium where the Comcast Center currently sits.
Then go to the Doggy Diner(Tony Lukes)
But this was real ground-poundin Detroit Mucsle. Where is this going on these days?
