  • In July of 1970 my parents gave me & my siblings a ride between two Minnesota towns on Burlington Northern's Westen Star so we could experience riding a train. The Western Star was not picked up by Amtrak & made its last run on April 30, 1971.

  • GEEZ! ~ I can feel the "clickity-clack" beneath my feet. I used to be a switchman/trainman on the "P-Company". Way back when!
