  • i love the way you did this, but how many pack of hair did you need?

  • If you can't braid...will twisting it work

  • i been doing my hair like this since december and i love it.

  • I absolutely love your hair so realistic am thinking about doing clip ins am 8 months natural (without big chop) so my hair looks kinds kinky and straight (my ends are straight from perm still) do you think clip ins will work for my two textured hair?

  • Nice.. question 4 ya. do you sew or glue the clips on the hair?

  • have you used the flex rods to curl your clip ons? If so please do a vid. I have neve worn a weave or extentions cause I always had long thick hair, but I hate doing my hair so I wear braids most of the time. Since viewing your tutorial I brought hair & clips to make my own clip ons. Thanks I hope it come out looking real like yours.

  • can u make a video using extensions 4a/4b

    curly

  • How do you get you real hair so straight? what kind of flat irons do you use?

  • your gorgeous girl(:

  • where do you get real hair ones at

  • WOW THAT LOOKS SO REAL!!!

  • @pplcallmecrazii Awww. Thanks :-)

  • @pplcallmecrazii i sed the samee thing!

  • Can you do a video on wearing a high bun with clip in hair extensions?

  • @MUSHIMUSHIC Yes. I am definitely gonna do a video on that. Thanks so much for the request :-)

  • Great video. I wear clip-ins all the time but I've never thought of braiding my hair until now. My hair is thin & sometimes it's hard for the clips to stay where I want them bcause of my hair being very straight. I will def try this method. I'm trying to thicken my hair back up with vit & giving it a rest. Haven't permed my hair in 8 mo. & it is growing but this will protect it better. I'm tired of wrapping it evrynite. Now all I'll need to do is take the clipped hair out & put on my scarf. :)

  • @Destinyatk Thanks. Yup, that's all you'll need to do is take the clips out & put on your scarf. And you will find it so convenient in the morning.... Especially when you are in a rush. You just remove your scarf, and 'clip, clip clip', and then you are ready to go. Lol. When I first did this to my hair, I knew I had to share this on Youtube with everyone, and I am so happy that I am able to help others. :-)

  • My hair is just like yours and ive been looking for the perfect protective clip in hairstyle, so im sooooo happy I found you ! How many packs did you use ?

  • @NyShelle1 Thanks. I only used 1 pack. And each track that I have are doubled.

  • One more question. What is the length of your hair? did you have to do any cutting at all?

    Thanks!

  • @Thinmint0817 The 3 bottom tracks are 14 inches long. The next one up is 12 inches long, and the top one is 10 inches long. I cut them to those sizes. The hair was a lot longer than that when I bought it. :-)

  • I am so glad I found you! I was tryingto find a clip-in method whereI could still keep my hair in a protective style, so thank you sooo much :)

  • @littlemisslady2010 You are so welcome. I love to see how this video is helping so many women.

  • Hey, I love the video and I have a quick question. I would love to try this tutorial and have it turn out as nicely as yours, so, I want to make sure that I buy the right kind of Aurora. Is this the correct one that you got [[Aurora Remi Human Hair Black Series - Classic Perm Yaky Weave]] because in the pictue that is epicted, it's wavy. did you have to flat iron it?

    Thanks

  • @Thinmint0817 Yes. Thats the correct hair. Fresh out the box, the hair will have that yaky/kinky texture, but once you flat iron it, it will be straight like mine in the video. Then when you wash it, that kinky texture will return, until you flat iron it again. :-) Hope you enjoy the hair.

  • @CTKimmy hi kimmy i would just like to ask a question my hair is natural afro so sometimes i have to straighten my hair and i just wondered what type of hair shall i use to blend in with my natural afro hair but i am going to straighten it first before i add in the clip extentions? i bought some extentions before and they was far too thin :(

  • @PriincessNx The only hair that I have come across that matches our hair texture, is this hair... it is on the expensive side, but with the proper care, it will last you a very long time. I've had this hair for about 2 & 1/2 years now, and it still looks pretty new. And this is from just one package of hair. Hope this helps :-)

  • i'm trying you method today! cant WAIT to see how it turns out! i'll check in with you when i'm done! :)

  • @MsDanyellDraper Cool. Hope it turns out great. :-)

  • Ive neva known ani1 to do ot dat way.cool.how many inches

  • @SuperMrsrandall Thanks. The 3 bottom tracks are 14 inches long. The next one up is 12 inches long, and the top one is 10 inches long. I cut them to those sizes. The hair was a lot longer than that when I bought it. :-)

  • is it possibal for you to do a video on cornrowing

  • @makeuploverxx100 Yes. I will definitely do a video on cornrowing. Thanks for the request. :-)

  • What flat iron are you using? Your hair turned out reallyyyy great!=)

  • @KayLoveGlam In the video, I am using a Mega Hot flat iron (from Sally's), but I no longer own that flat iron. I now have a Corioliss C1... and I LOVE it!!! Its sooooo much better. :-)

  • Will 6 Clip Ins be enough cause Im thinking about buying them Off ebay and I rather have too many than to not have enough to do my whole head ??

  • @ItsSoLikeSabrina Yes, 6 clip in should be enough, because you will need to leave some of your real hair out to cover the top clip in. :-)

  • Would you be able to pull your hair back in a ponytail? And if you can't do you know how to put the extensions in so that I could be able to do that? :)

  • @Channie311 You can do a low ponytail with this method. :-)

  • hey. i love your videos but i saw this hair and it is kind of kinky. but on this video its very straight and i live the way it looks. it i flat iron this hair will it come out like yours does? or will it still have the kinks in it?

  • @CarlyaLovee Thanks. If you flat iron it, the kinks will go away. But they will come back when you wash the hair. (just like our natural hair). Once it's dry, just flat iron again to remove the kinks. Hope this helps. :-)

  • This is a good way to protect your hair too....

  • @xDestinyCharisma Yes. Its a good way to keep from combing your hair everyday, but yet still be able to have cute style. :-)

  • Hey no problem!!! Quesion..Can you swim with extensions???

  • @sexygirlalthya With sew-ins you can, but I wouldn't recommend it with clip-in, because when they get wet, they will feel heavy, and add tension to your hair where the clips are.

  • It looks sooo real

  • @sexygirlalthya Thanks :-)

  • You Look so Much Younger with Long Hair, I Guessed about 22 At Least(: & It Looks SO Natural

  • @SplashOnYourNigga Thanks. A lot of people say I look younger with longer hair. I'll be 30 this year, so I'm happy that I am aging slowly. LOL. :-)

  • @CTKimmy does it give your hair time to grow?

  • @yellowdot1100 Yes. Since the hair is braided, you won't be combing it, which will give your hair a chance to rest, which will help it grow. :-)

  • Aw man....this is soooo cool. I wish I knew how to braid lol.

  • @Lacieob22 Lol. You can see if someone can braid it for you, and then you can keep the braids in for a week. :-)

  • You look like jennifer hudson (:

  • @breemakail Thanks. She's pretty. :-)

  • can i swim in this!

  • @MizzPerfect9292 I wouldn't recommend swimming in them.

  • wow this video was great for us first timers, am a new mother and wanted to get a new look. That could be a easy change with an infant.

  • @Sapphir122011 Congrats on the baby! Yes, this is a perfect style for busy moms, because it is so easy to just clip in every morning and remove every evening. :-)

  • u make it look so damn easy lol

  • @Taveelicious Thanks LOL :-)

  • looks very good!

  • @luv718xxx Thanks :-)

  • Hi where are u from

  • @tianashany Connecticut :-)

  • I love the way you braided your hair and then add the extensions. I'm gonna be trying this today. You are my inspiration, thank you for sharing!

  • @msucaligurl You're welcome. :-) Let me know how it turns out.

  • Very nice!!

  • @JDA0418 Awww. Thanks :-)

  • is that 100% humman hair?

  • @StyleiiVloqinq Yes it is.

  • what kind of hair is that?

  • @tpink96 100% Remi. Its called "Aurora Black Series Professional" :-)

  • Yup. Next hair style I am going to do

  • @SimplyyTope7 Cool. let me know how it turns out :-)

  • @CTKimmy when you made the hair tracks into clips have many packs of hair did you use? How many would you recommend? Thanks.

    U look great!!

  • @Teealio Thanks. I only used 1 pack. I like this hair because it has a lot of hair on the tracks. There are some brands of hair out there that have very thin tracks, so you may want to buy 2 packs if you buy the thin hair, but if you buy this hair.... you will only need 1 pack. Hope this helps :-)

  • what's your ethnicity?

  • @Naomijasminedee African American. :-)

  • Like this if you wish there was clip in extensions for ethnic hair that was made already.

  • Great video but didn't the clips snap back open with the bulkiness of the braid? : )

  • @mochaess I want to know too!! Because I have the smaller clips (they sell diff sizes) and they pop open even when i have my hair out

  • @nukeet50 Thanks :-) I clip them close to my scalp, so the clips don't go through the braid.

  • @mochaess Thanks :-) I clip them close to my scalp, so the clips don't go through the braid.

  • I love it !

  • @Nellz25 Thanks :-)

  • YAY! finally found it! I saw ur vid some days ago and I loved ur idea. I was stupid enough not to add ur vid to my favs and coz of that I've spent hours trying to find it again LOL I dont know how to braid my hair like that :-( so i'll show my friend ur vid and hopefully she can do it like that :-D YAY kisses :-)

  • @aikisaku Awww. Thanks. I'm so happy you were able to find me again. Let me know how it turns out. :-)

  • is it secure?

  • @ycutiepie1997 yes...very :-) Thats one of the reasons why I love to wear my clip ins like this

  • What kind of flat iron do you use?

  • @projectkid212 In the video I was using a "Mega Hot Ceramic Flat Iron" from Sally's, but I don't have that anymore. I recently bought a "Corioliss C1 Titanium Flat Iron", and I LOVE it, much better than the one I had before. :-)

  • I will be trying this because my hair is all natural and I don't want to have to straighten the whole thing. so thanks alot! your hair looks great!

  • @LovinShia Awww Thanks. I'm happy the video was helpful :-)

  • 12:50 hahhahahhahah js. but i like ur method

  • why didnt you just leave your hair our instead of braiding it, does that make it last longer ?

  • @shegotadonk1969 When I leave all my hair out, it tends to get tangled with the extensions. Also I would have to flat iron my entire head. With this method, I avoid those tangles & I only have to flat iron just the top. :-)

  • wut program did you use to make the video?and does those hairs hold the curls?

  • @Beccyzzstyles I use imovie to edit my videos. & This hair holds a curl so well. :-)

  • what length is this

  • @007kellogs the 3 bottom tracks are 14 inches long. The next one up is 12 inches long, and the top one is 10 inches long. I cut them to those sizes. The hair was a lot longer than that when I bought it. :-)

  • did you make those clip ins or did they come like that?

  • @chloepemberton03 I made them.

  • @CTKimmy cool...wat type of hair did u use?

  • @chloepemberton03 it's called "Aurora Black Series Professional"

  • how many packs is this?

  • @eluvg1975 Just 1 :-)

  • Great job!

  • @bonita82 Thanks :-)

  • im definetly going to try this because i have the same problem and i need to try something neew

  • @TharaROCKS Let me know how it turns out :-)

  • this is the best technique that i have seen. im going to try this next week

  • @imasweetangel9586 Thanks. Let me know how it turns out. :-)

  • This is really good

  • @sharliejohn88 Thanks :-)

  • looks amazing and natural

  • @PinkisMe09 Thanks :-)

  • thank you sooo much for making this video :)) <3

  • @iloveyouJDS You're welcome. Glad you liked it. :-)

  • How long is the hair ??

  • @imanii09 the 3 bottom tracks are 14 inches long. The next one up is 12 inches long, and the top one is 10 inches long. I cut them to those sizes. The hair was a lot longer than that when I bought it. :-)

  • Thank you for sharing! My hair is about the same lenght as yours and I was discouraged because sew-ins breaks my hair and wearing a wig all the times messes up my hair line....So this is a great alternative!!! My question might sounds stupid but are clip in solid? I mean if somebody accidently clings on your hair can it get out?

  • @zouky4life Yeah, I know exactly what you mean about sew-ins and wigs. I was having the same problem. I Iove clip-ins. With the method that I do, they are completely solid. If someone accidentally clings on your hair, they won't fall out because the braid is there to stop it. :-)

  • I love this video! ^_^ both your natural hair and the clip ins look great!

  • @LUXEthatKiLL Awww Thanks :-)

  • Looks great. My hair is soooo thin ~ it never comes out like this. :0(

  • @KellyGirl1268 Awww thanks. Castor Oil is good for thickening hair :-)

  • I have in clip-ins right now but I usually just ponytail it. This way looks amazingly natural. I have a box of Aurora hair that I never used because I saw no reviews on it. Glad to see it held up so well for you. Guess i'll use it now!

  • @bklynqn2 Thanks.. Give the hair another try. Let me know how it turns out. :-)

  • @CTKimmy

I can't wait to see the hair regimen video! Can you also do a tutorial on the clip in natural ponytail look that's on your blog?

    Thanks so much!!

P.S. I'm rocking clip-in as I type this, thanks to you! I'm definitely loving the look :•D

  • this is so pretty!

  • @gothicloveism Thanks :-)

  • Wow! This is an awesome idea! What exactly is your healthy hair regimen? Your hair has surely grown alot!! Other than the long term relationship, what other products do you use?

  • @missaraye Thanks. I actually recorded a hair regimen video today. I am currently editing it, and will have it uploaded very soon. :-)

  • amazing, never seen it with braids. VERY smart idea. thanks for the video! it was helpful. (:

  • @pinkguh Thanks. Happy you enjoyed! :-)

  • sew-in* not weave i guess lol

  • wow never seen then put in like this! seems so much better than weave since hair can be maintained easier, this was helpful (:

  • @fashionhipster I'm glad you liked it. :-)

  • I'm jealous ! ;D

    The result is fantastic !

  • @FRENCHYBOULEVARD Thanks :-)

  • this is the best clip in video

  • @lilnycshawty1586 Awww. Thanks :-)

  • do you know how much the aurora black series professional hair is?

  • @spieldose $149 a pack

  • i love this vid. most girls dont want to show the real hair theyve got so its hard to appreciate their videos.thankx hun...xx

  • @msdinadiva Awww. Thanks. I know what you mean, a lot of girls are scared to show their real hair , but I'm not shy to show my real hair. :-)

  • if you get perms a lot or flatten your hair period it tends to look thin, but trust, it's thicker than most people lol

  • @shyshy119 I'm trying not to flat iron often. I usually do it like 2... maybe 3 times a month. A couple of years ago, I use to relax every 5 weeks, (I know...horrible Lol), but I have gotten a lot better. I only relax every 4 months, and I don't leave it on too long (like 10 minutes). Thanks for watching :-)

  • That is very good I am going to steal your technique that looks so natural!!!!

  • @tashaakalilmama23 I'm happy you liked it. Let me know how it turns out. :-)

  • Heey! where did you buy your clips ins?

  • @WoaahDere I made them. I bought the hair, and then I sewed the clips on. :-)

  • what brand is this it blends in with ur hair so much and doesnt look fake i can find hair texture that looks like mine

  • @dymepyce616 Thanks. :-) The hair is called "Aurora Black Series Professional"

  • i loveee this technique..and really want to try it.. how long in width were each of your clip in tracks?

  • @janaiDandS (starting from the bottom up)..... bottom track is 4 inches wide, next is 7 inches wide, next is 10 inches wide, next is 11 inches wide, and last one is 9 inches wide. Make sure to measure each track to fit your head. Everyone's head shape is different and I have a big head...Lol :-)

  • Thank you so much, ur hair looks great.

  • @Glaw86 Thanks. :-) glad you liked it

  • amazing!

  • @evileyez504 Thanks :-)

  • you look younger now than when you had short hair.

but i'm glad i found this video, i'm going to try this.

  • @JAdoreJourdan everyone tells me that. That's why I'm trying to grow my hair long again, so I can stay looking young...Lol :-)

  • This is amazing!!! I love it I want extensions do you have a website or another type of hair that would look that well, because I'd like some for new years eve before school starts -3 thank you!

  • @MzBatmanForever I don't have any other hair, but I do want to try some other brands to review for everyone. :-)

  • Very goood job !! It looks so natural

thank you so muuuuuuch for this idea !!!

    From France , Paris ;)

  • @FRENCHYBOULEVARD Thanks. Happy you liked it. :-)

  • wat inch are all the extenchion including the shorter ones. if u dont remeber from the pack u could try a ruler

  • @kejawynn the 3 bottom tracks are 14 inches long. The next one up is 12 inches long, and the top one is 10 inches long. I cut them to those sizes. The hair was a lot longer than that when I bought it. :-)

  • Do you clip the hair into the braid or the scalp?

  • @deathonthebeach up near the scalp.

  • Please tell me how many packs of this did you buy. How many pieces of the clip ins should we buy in a pack. We are looking at ebay too.
