@JackAshtonProduction Most airlines use a general video for all their aircraft. They shoot parts that are similar to each aircraft then shoot the parts that are different. Then combine them to make one video to save money during filming.
however im irritated by the fact they stopped me from using my video camera at all during my first flight overseas...it kinda ruined it for me ya know!
my camera was not even digital, I even pulled out the tape to show the woman!
yeh well i guess the 737 and the a320 are similar enough for parts of the safety video to be the same... lol i was on the A320 tha otha day it was soo funny to watch lol
yohoo... quite an impressive safety video i hv ever seen. instead of the normal boring video, i love that , and the overall idea is wicked..... chears kiwi...

What a great plan Air New Zealand:D Using a 737-300 instead of a A320-200 for the safety video so the stupid ugly fuck of a airbus wont break our computer screens. Great idea:P
Love it guys good job! Just one tiny thing.. you forgot to mention to raise the shades for land and take off... also Light and whistle on the life jacket... Other than that WILL YOUR HOT!!! GO AIR NZ!!!!!
It could be a deliberate mistake to prevent panic among those not familiar with the A320. They don't realise the A320's have sidesticks instead of control columns, and may think something is seriously wrong with the plane - not a good idea when Air NZ has ordered fourteen A320's to replace their B737-300's
In the explanation of the trainman of the room of ..beautiful woman.. [kyaku], an in-flight security precaution was comprehensible and it was very good.
its just the 737 demo, but they say A320 not 737...not as impressive, but still unique compared to other safety vids and is (nevertheless) important...imagine them doing a vid for the 747!
Since when does an A320 have a yolk rather than a joystick in the cockpit. Also the change between overhead bins, seats and wing exits is interesting as they switch between A320 and 737!
but why no show full body ?

That's clearly a 737 flight deck so this video loses all its credibility.
And do those oxygen masks come in another colour? I don't like yellow.

good safety video !!
franknize08 1 year ago
LOL this video is cool, haha that supposingly gay guy at 2:11 and why is the flight deck a 737-300/400/500 version? Funny though.

@airbus94 I noticed that as well, if you take a look at the crazy about rugby 737-300 video, it's an Airbus A320 cockpit lol

Crazy that they did not bother filming the whole thing in a A320. It looks really bad. Take a look at the overhead lockers - they keep changing.
Great idea, but could do with being more consistent.

its not an a320. at 2:09 the plane has a control colum, a320's dont have those.
bladeere14 2 years ago 2
Some parts of this video come from the video for their 737 aircraft. Obviously a passenger isn't going to need to know what the cockpit looks like.
bewareofcabbage 2 years ago
its actually a B737 300
(in this vid)
If I remember correctly
