He's also able to look at a number of charts without having to touch anything -- so he doesn't need to scrub down each time just to look at them. This means your doctor can have these images next to him as he's operating on you. Not sure about you, but I want my doctor to have as much information at his fingertips as possible

You can't learn to play music without an instrument. The Kinect it not a musical instrument, it's a toy. Nor is it a tool to handle precise tasks such as the disarming of bombs. Anyone who says otherwise is a fool.

@OscarEz No seriously, I'm all for moving forward, but you cannot learn a stringed instrument without strings. I've played bass for about four years now, and my father has played for eight. Also, as I said before, it isn't precise enough to disarm bombs. I suggest you try it if you disagree. This video is an advertisement. Ads are made to be fun and interesting so that they capture your attention sometimes at the cost of accuracy. If you fall for them, you are a fool.

@OscarEz This is different. Strings are necessary for an acoustic cello. By nature, it would be simpler and easier to control a mechanical arm with knobs than trying to imitate its motions. Could you specify the machine you're referencing? As far as I know, math is part of everything that happens. Computers deal in information; It is integral to their purpose, whether local, or world-wide. Making machine that emulates people is a stellar task, but not impossible.

This advert is amazing. I would never expect microsoft to make a beautiful advert like this. You can see apple doing an advert like this but never would I have thought Microsoft would. These adverts sell and microsoft need to understand this. People in england remember the Hovis bread advert because it was amazing and a lot of thought and time went into it, people remember the Guiness advert with the surfers and the horses...adverts make people buy objects or reject them.

@1996bonny The idea isn't that he was learning, but rather being able to review x-ray scans and other important information without touching anything (and risking transmitting infection into the patient. Currently that is a little bit harder and requires nurses, movable screens and lost time communicating.

There is an error in the code that was being written.

They did sumot... "signMode ...;" which would produce a compile error and

"= new // things _we_hadn't..." which would also make a compile error since your not correctly declaring an object :D ("//" is for comments btw...)
