apart from Columbus being a smaller big city & more rural...therefore maybe Guille enjoys it more. he was also hounded his last few years with Boca. one of my friends in Chile told me that everyone hated him down there for his last few years. i can't remember what he said. but apparently Guille did something to piss off all the Boca supporters & staff. and no one in USA knows about his career there, so he doesn't get hounded like he did there.

Guillermo Barros likes Ohio because it's a place where he can get away from what he would be experiencing in Buenos Aires. So many people know him there that it's impossible to walk in the streets. In Ohio, his kids can go outside and ride their bike. That's what he said at least.

I also understand that he has an eye towards a coaching position when he retires.. Hopefully it will be at the Crew.

I've been to Columbus It's nice, but it's no B.A., which is why I'm shocked he loves it so much.

Anyway, Lopez loves it in KC too. I guess, Something about the Midwest really appeals to Argentines. Maybe it's all the corn, soybean and cows surrounding the suburbs. Haha.

I can't speak for Lopez or KC but guille never lived in Buenos Aries when he played for Boca he always lived in La Plata.

I think it may have more to do with nice people and not getting hounded by the press everywhere he goes ;-)
