  • Turn it upside down and make "u" words.

  • My little brother's fave clip about number 3 was: "3 snapping turtles on a fat lady's

lap". It showed a big lady in a rocking chair lol going "three three three, three three three, three three three- hyeh hyeh hyeh hyeh hyeh!" with 3 turtles on her lap.

Hilarious! But we cannot find it.

  • @4freespeech it was actually "one two three", not "three three three", but yeah I remember that one.

  • i so remember this one!!! ahhh the 70's...back when childhood mattered..... but i've never seen the spanish version...

  • i love the letter n-tori

  • When I first saw this, I was sure it was racist.

A black guy saying "twenty six letters in the alphabet and I gotta get N"

  • No.

  • When I was 3 years old, I thought the last line was "26 letters in the alphabet and I gotta get in." It's amazing how I understand things better as an adult and the clips make more sense to me now.

  • I also remember this same cartoon was dubbed in Spanish and the word balloons were in Spanish too.

  • Yes, I remember the Spanish version as well. One of the words in the Spanish version was 'nunca,' which means 'never.' A lot of (though not all) English words beginning with 'n' have Spanish counterparts that also begin with 'n.'

  • Ya know, if you listen close, there is a low voice talking in the background. Almost sounded like he saying numbers and letters.

  • WOAH! That last second just before the cutoff-all the kids in the pool. I remember that one! It's about kids learning to swim with cute background music playing. The swimming instructors show one kid how to blow bubbles in the water and in the end they all play ring around the rosy! Anyone seen it?

  • Haha! I remember this from the 80's but I bet it's a bit older :)

  • the voice of the interviewer sounds like the father from the Addams Family... right now I can't remember his first name but his last name is Ashton. I believe he is Sean Ashton's father.

  • It's John Astin, but I'm pretty sure that's not his voice

  • Hey, letter...speaking of "nag", seen yourself in a mirror lately? (It's a shame that reporter couldn't find a word that started with a *silent* N!)

  • I have vague memories of seeing this. Those coloured speech bubbles made me remember...sorta.

There was another Letter N thing that I can easily remember. It was done by muppet people (not a particular one, they just lloked like people) and they sang about the letter N in a 80s style new wave/experimental electro style. There were a lot of flashing lights at the chorus.

  • You're probably thinking about "The Letter N" by Nick Normal and the Nickmatics.I would LOVE to see that one again after 9 years.

  • Love the 70ties sesame street. Does anyone know the guy who fell down the stairs with birthday cakes? "10 birthday caaakes!"

Can it also be found here?

  • I always laughed as a kid everytime the N's words covered the reporters face, lol.

  • Huuum. I thought he said 26 letter and they got to get in. Meaning on the show.

  • @MIKECNW I thought the same thing when I saw this when I was 3 years old. It's interesting to see these clips now that I have a better command of the English language and can understand everything better.

  • Me too. I love this one just because at the end the interviewer says "26 letters in the alphabet and I've gotta get N." Say does anyone have any clips of Fruitamasana(SP?). About healthy living. I only remember the one where she's eating fruit and she throws it away.

  • love the clips of sesame st

do you have access to the one where the clay marbles all gather in a crowd and count to twelve with chipmunk voices?

or the one where a lot of dots disappear one by one in synch to groovy 70s music?

  • No, but you can check out what I have if you like! Quite a few classic gems.

  • Does anyone have the clip of the song about the 'lower case N standing on the hill" ?

  • @amybeth68 It's on here somewhere. Keep trying.
