The 3d feature only works if the video you have uploaded is 3d. ie 2 streams one for left one for right. The tag makes youtube give the viewer options depending on what type of glasses they have. If you apply it to a normal video it won't work and you will look stupid.

i can cross my eyes enough to make 2 objects that are 20 inches apart appear to be one in the middle (PC speakers) but you cant cross your eyes to make it appear 3d that is worth watching. I dont have any 3d glasses so i want to try this feature soon but i dont see how it can work because how does it know what things to make pop? ir is it just like realD with different layers

The cross-eyed version doesn't work because there has to be two videos to make a 3-D effect. I tried to see it with the parallel version, but the scenes are too different to fuse into one image...

in not sure it worked, did u use 2 camras? To make it 3D you cant just put the thing on the end, u MUST use 2 camras both filming at the same time from different angle, thats how it can do the cross eyed effect. There trying to develop software to make it only need one camra, but till then, u need 2!

Doesn't work, the videos are waaaay too different (or the cameras waaaay to far apart).

The 3D effect is created by viewing objects in different angles. This doesn't work if you only see objects in one picture ony. And I haven't found objects close enough in all the video.
