I mean how can a guy stealing someones car rims sue the owner of the car when he drives over the theifs hands and win... thats what im fed up about!

All the European posters speak better English then the americans..lol...(I'm American for the record). They used two houses in the 1979 movie and the 2004 movie.One in New Jersey and One in Pennsylvania (both homes were Dutch Colonial style to match the New york house.) The Amityville house (in New York) was actually being lived in while the film was being made by another family(who never complained of ghosts).Also the Character of Jody Defeo never existed.The two daughters were Alison & Dawn.
