I know the guy says that when one is born a star lights in the sky, but when you see the star fading who knows it could be Vicious star? And besides i read this a long time ago (and i don't find it now) so i went to wikipedia and went to the episode list -> Last episode and it says: "Whether Spike ultimately lives or dies is intentionally left ambiguous." Words from the creator.

Yeah, but for those peoeple who want to believe that spike lived through it the question is could spike have gone out any better than the way he did. Spike's not the kind of guy who was ever going to go quietly in a bed from old age. The very thing that made spike appealing as a character is the very reason why he died the way he did.

That is too true. Cowboy Bebop was/is an amazing Anime. Hell, it transcends "Anime" and rises through the ashes to become its own genre. I have yet to find an equal or better series. It's been out for years and some have tried to copy it and haven't been able to capture the greatness that is Cowboy Bebop. Some things just scream Mastepiece, and Cowboy Bebop is one of them.

Haha... Vamp.. I love me some Anime. I adore it.. relish it.. revel in it. I watch whatever I can get my hands on, and love a lot of it. But this comment just rings undeniably true. There's no doubting the sheer genius of the Bebop. I cut my teeth on it, but I can come back repeatedly and watch any episode, any time, and enjoy it thoroughly. (Never mind the music!) There aren't many television shows or movies conceived to man that can hold my interest that way.

Well how many have the rich cultural roots of Bebop? Im not much of an anime fan but Bebop might be my favorite TV series of all time.

I love the Jazz themes, movie influences, the Western style screenscapes. Heck the writers even referenced the difference between the traditional westerns and Spagghetti Westerns, the idealistic morally flawless but dim witted John Waynesque Cowboy Andy faces the grim gritty Leonesque Spike.

@Artiii020 Honestly...its not that hard to see that Spike more than likely died...there were hints of it...it was all foreshadowed...the creator obviously wants people to try to make their choice of whether he died or not, it still leans heavily on the death ending. People mainly shoot for the "Spike is still alive"..mainly because they would rather not believe such a great character died.
