The min requirements for the HL2 ep1 is about 1.2GHZ and 256mb RAM, and the recommended is 2.4GHZ and 512mb RAM.

However, the rest of the games (HL2, ep2 and Portal) have a min req. of 1.7GHZ and 512mb RAM, and a rec. req. of 3.0GHZ and 1gb RAM.
