  • @MsJesaso Hi there, sorry for the late reply. The zipper foot usually comes with your sewing machine. Mine did. I guess you don't have to use it but I think it makes it easier to maneuver.

  • your a money saver now i wont worry about buying ones that are expenxive cuz it lasts long:)

  • how much r the zippers

  • Depends on the length you use, but I bought 9 inch zippers for about $1.30-$1.50 each.

  • i will do it, thanks for sharing us

  • No problem! Enjoy! :)

  • Ur bag is so cool and where did u buy ur zippers for the pencil bag. Please reply

  • Thanks! I got the zippers at Fabricland. But you can probably find zippers at any fabric store.

  • Interesting. I never heard of such a concept before. Thanks for sharing. :^)

  • No problem :) They actually sell these "zipper pencil cases" outside. I've always wanted one but never knew where to find it. Then I found the instructions on how to do it yourself. :)

  • I'd rather support smiggle. But well done.

  • thanks

  • What a wonderful idea! Thanx for sharing :-)

  • What a neat idea! TFS! I luv your videos!

  • thanks so much :)

  • those are like the ones from smiggle

  • @nominoko treww

  • were can u buy the zippers

  • you can get them at any fabric store. I got mine from Fabricland. Michael's probably sells them too

  • thank you so much for sharing this idea! you explained it really well, gave really useful and helpful tips, and are also very talented. I made mine (using 18 zippers though) just a few days ago for school, and I think it might be a hit with my friends once I show it to them.

I had some trouble sewing some of the zippers together to be honest, mainly because I think zippers are hard in general, but your tips really helped me out. Thank you again!

  • Thanks!! I'm glad you liked it and that it helped. :) Yeah, I need to make a bigger one cuz i have too much junk. My friends really liked them too. They make great gifts. :)

I had a lot of trouble the first time too. When I did my second one, because the machine doesn't go over the zipper teeth very well, I hand-sewed the zipper teeth together first. then I used the machine to sew in between the teeth (the fabric part). hopefully that makes sense. lol!

  • cool

  • Thanks! :)

  • u are very talented !!!! :)

  • u explained it nicely

  • Thanks so much! I'm glad you found it clear.

  • i knew that it was seen from spotlight

    and i made 3 cases
